Abit more expensive, but worth it.

My family and I have been eating here for years. The quality had been uniformly very good and the service was fine. The quality suffered about after the merger with Bajara, but now seems to be back to what it was in the past. Well worth a visit.

    Changed?

The food I had this evening was so different than anything I ever had there before. This was not a change for the better. I'm thinking the restaurant has changed owners and or chefs.

    Inedible food

    Overpriced Food with Poor Service

I went to Haveli with my wife this past Friday night to celebrate my birthday. The food was decent, comparable to the dishes that can be found at any of the multitude of Indian restaurants in the East Village, but the prices were high and the service was

Not what it ued to be, by far

I have ordered take-out from here, since they opened and will no more. The multiple and subtle spices used, used to be interesting. The curries now are banal and many appetizers/bread have a moldy water stench to them. Not worth the extra $s.

    Upset I spent my $$$

Last nite Jan 22, 2010, a good friend & I decided to foregoe Sea Thai down the block to go to Haveli. I've been coming here since 1996 and the last time I was here is summer 2008, the food was delicious then, hence if you look at the reviews they're all f
