    Not really Cuban

While visiting NYC we stopped at Havana Central, what a dissapointment! It does no serve Cuban food at all. The Mojitos were good, but the food was dissapointing. I do not recommend this restaurant.

    Fantastic!

I lived in Miami for a few years and was transported after walking into Havana Central. Food was delicious and so quick at lunch time! Have been raving about this place ever since.

Cuban Flair for a Small Price

This is an amazing bargain in Times Square -- the food is delicious Cuban & very reasonably priced -- and if you're lucky you can hear great live Latin jazz or salsa music (on Wednesday night when I was there, I got to hear Grupo Latin Vibe, and they were excellent). A great choice in a tough food neighborhood.

If you like mojitos, It's a must!

Went with a group of friends and we ordered lots of different things of the menu and shared. I can honestly say this is a better appetizer and drinks kind of spot than a restaurant. The food was semi, but not authentic cuban. The mojitos were excellent tasting except for the bad looking sugarcane piece in the drink. But after a few drinks overall we had a good time.

    Good Cuban

The food, service, atmosphere and price were all good. This is a refreshing Cuban restaurant in Times Square.

Poor, Poor, Poor excuse for a restaurant

I cannot understand the hype I have read in the other reviews. It is "bodega" food that one pays $6.00 a plate for all over the city. Poor quality ingredients - did not like the food at all. Would never go back. My wife felt the same. Waiter was pleasant.

    Vacation in Havana...for an hour!

My co worker and I decided to go here for lunch yesterday. So glad I picked it as I am usually Indecisive when it comes to picking anything. We ate there for my birthday and it was fabulous. We left there full, taking home part of our lunch and so excited to tell others. Fabulous waitress, fabulous food and FABULOUS prices. You can not beat that especially with all the restaurants NY has to offer. We plan to frequent this place. Best of all they have a part of their menu dedicated to the workers of ny on their lunch break. Anything from this side of the menu once ordered you will receive it within 15 minutes! perfect for your hour lunch break. Great atmosphere great music, great drinks!
