    Great food & atmosphere

I decided to stop by Havana's for my anniversary. My boyfriend and I arrived at 5pm and sat at the bar for a couple of drinks b4 eating dinner. Since we're both from latin descent, we loved the latin music , which played all night long. Around 7pm an actual live band played latin tunes. The food was very good, it had a good amount of seasoning, I would recommed the Churrasco (skirt steak) and the Arroz con Camarones (Safron rice with shrimp). The atmosphere had a nice, loud vibe to it, we saw families, couples, co-workers all dining here so it pretty much accommodates anyone. If your looking for something low-key, cosy and serene this will not be the place for you.

    Good Entertainment, Drinks & Food

I stumbled across this restaurant walking back to my car on a Saturday night. I heard the live music, which I loved, and walked in for Mojito’s and an appetizer. Everyone was friendly….some people were dancing….. Music, drinks and food were great. This is a restaurant that I would definitely go back to.

OK Place with kids - MUCH too loud

As other reviewers have noted, the music on the sound system is so loud that it makes it impossible to think or talk. People around us were literally holding their fingers in their ears. This was a Saturday evening, about 5:30pm, in December. Repeated attempts to have the music lowered were ignored - and in fact, the volume was even increased! The food was pretty good, the service was 'New York brusque': not friendly, not unfriendly, not attentive, not inattentive. We were there with two children under ten. I must say the food on the children's menu was better than average and there was a lot of it. You could choose sweet potato fries as an option and they were excellent. For the adults, we each had one of the traditional cuban beef dishes, with rice and beans, as well as a side of roasted vegetables. All the food was quite good and nicely seasoned. The prices were also not bad. The worst thing about the whole experience was the loud music, and unfortunately it was enough to cross this place off our list for future possibilities when we are in that area. It's no fun to sit with your fingers in your ears, or to have to yell loudly and keep repeating yourself to be heard.

    Killer Cocktails, Good Food

My sister and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant we just happened to find while walking around. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff very friendly. The mojitos and margaritas we ordered while we sat at the bar during happy hour were made to perfection. We decided to have dinner because we go by the theory that if the drinks are good, the dinner will be good. We were not disappointed. We ordered arroz con camerones, empanadas, black beans and rice, avocado salads and flan for dessert. Everything was very tasty and the portions abundant. The band performing that night just added to the entire experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Warning for Happy Hour Goers

While the food here is good, and the atmosphere great, I would caution going here for Happy Hour. The service is so slow that I saw many people simply give up on waiting for a drink. They need at least 4 bartenders, not 2. It results in a very frustrating experience. Avoid Happy Hour and go for a meal where you actually can depend on service.
