We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservaton but they seated us immediately. The restaurant was tired looking and honky tonk...and extremely noisy. The food was OK..salad a bit wilted, shrimps not fresh and swimming in sauce although I had asked for it to be very lite. The only thing they do good is rice. Not authentic cuban food..very commercial. Would not go there again.

    Lost our meal

Well we have eaten here before and it was good. Last night we went before seeing a show. Had our apps and a pitcher of mojitos. Those were good. We had the sampler platter It was sometime before our waiter came back over. It was busy. He was nice and said he would check on our dinner. I told him we had a half hour before our show. He checked and told us the kitchen lost our ticket! Ugh! We could reorder but didn't want to wait. So the manager came over and comped us our drinks and apps. Thought that was nice but really frustrated. Had popcorn and M & Ms at the show. Great dinner!

let me start by saying i rated the food quality low because it was cold the taste was very good and would have been better if it was hot. service was bad had to wait over 45min for our food to arive people around us came and went before our food came.server never came to our table to say sorry for the wait and when the food came everything was cold they took all the food away and in 12 minutes had all new food which was as cold as the first. manager was not willing to discount the check but would offer only deserts for free. also was charged for refills on ice tea 12.00 for 4 ice teas.overall a very bad experience and will not be back.

Great place to dine. Food very tasty.

Enjoyed this restaraunt. Great ambiance and the food i must say was very delicious. I'm usually a very critical person and hard to please but this place met my expectations. I ordered the Pernil asado dish and glad i did. Generous portion and don't forget to try their Passion Fruit Mojito. The best mojito drink i've ever tried. I defintiey will eat there again.

Don't expect anything, and you won't be disappointed

This place is exactly what you think it is, nothing less, nothing more. It's a chainy watering hole for the tourists and Times Square crowd. It's noisy, and crowded, and the drinks are more about alcohol than flavor. The servers all but throw you your food, while they're trying to squeeze between the tightly packed tables. The guy at the next table might opine loudly about things he knows nothing about, impressing his table mates and disturbing your meal. The waitress will try to remain nice and navigate through the chaos. Ah yes, the food. My waitress was more genuinely Cuban than what I ate. The ham croquettes? Goya makes a frozen version that tastes better. The roast pork? Well, it was... pork. At least they actually used pork butt. I suppose that's something. The yellow rice and black beans both tasted packaged, while the "chocolate rum cake" probably came out of a mix box. To top it all off, they call a coconut flavored mojito a "coquito," even though that's actually a totally different drink. Just think of this place as fajita night at a chain restaurant, extended to seven nights a week. If you're looking for someplace to go for drinks in Times Square, there are nicer places in this price range. And if you're looking to come here for real Cuban food, don't.

    My old stilettos

...point me in the right direction. Tonight, they pointed me in the direction of $4 Mojitos. Woo child.
