    Great restaurant

My wife and i had great dinner in this reastaurant last night the service and the food were great. At the end the manager offered us cigars for free which are hand rolled at the restaurant . I realized that this restaurant is not that small as it seems, they have a very romantic back room and huge party room which is good to know. We had a great time!!

Don't come here if u want american food

I was reading some of these review and the pple who didn't like the place ordered like codfish or something like that. If you are going to come here..ORDER THE SPANISH FOOD. They just put that stuff on the menu to entertain all types of people and the way they prepare it is CUBAN! NOT AMERICAN! I have been coming to this place for years and it's my number one restaurant EVER! Now, i'm puerto rican and im super picky about other people spanish food. But this place is amazing. Everything is authentic. The place is so cute and laid back. Oh in one of the reviews people said that the service was too fast. SPANISH PEOPLE EAT FAST, deal with it. Plus the place is small and they only have limited seating. The service is wonderful. Even though they are a little under staffed, they are the nicest pple ever. I recommend the place to anyone who wants authentic cuban food. PS..the Brunch is the best!

I heard good things about this place: great atmosphere, good Cuban food. Our experience was neither. It was a typical overcrowded Village restaurant (what else would one expect?) with very loud music piped through speakers (not the festive Cuban that plays in the main dining room). Our server rushed us through our order, but then the food took forever to come out. When it finally arrived, it all looked spectacular. Everything was flavorful, but cold. Overall, it wasn't worth the money...we'll give it another shot though. Could've just been a bad night...

    Always a good experience

I've been here many times and every time the food and service have been spectacular. I particularly love the paella valenciana and the lechon. The Sangria is never too sweet and never watered down like at other places. Great atmosphere, especially if you get to sit out back in the garden on a nice day.

    A lot of fun

I was told by a friend to try this place and i decided to give it a try. My girlfriend made a reservation and we ran about half an hour late, they were very kind with us to accommodate us, despite being late. From that moment of a warm welcome it was the begining of a great night. The live music began, people started applauding following the allegro rythm of the music. The food accompanied with mojito and the service were great. This place is a lot of fun. I recommend this place to all the young people who wants to have a great time. Not recommended for old people they ruin the place. We definitly we`ll go back!

    Reviews are right

My girlfriend had been raving about this place that she had taken groups of 6+ to before (how good the food/service/drinks were). So, we decided to look up reviews about it on this site. I was a little skeptical about all the negative reviews regarding how pushy the staff was etc. Well, I'm sorry to say...they were all right on. Upon our arrival we discovered they had lost our reservation. Not too bad considering that we were sat within a reasonable time (20-30min). However, the lead host continued to remind us that we didn't have a reservation. Turns out there were two other groups at the bar who also had had their reservations lost too. They left instead of waiting. The mojitos and sangria were good - however I their rum selection did leave a little to be desired. The server did seem as though she was trying to rush us as she returned every minute after we received our menus to see if we were ready to order. She even advised us to order apetizers because the food would take a while to prepare - which we did. Ten minutes later our food (along with our apetizers arrived). The food was 'okay.' Not bad. Nothing misleading in the descriptions (other than there were no pickles on the Cuban Sandwich!). After dinner we ordered dessert and coffee (which the waitress offered). The desserts were not nearly as good as the food and I don't recommend them. After the dessert we promptly got our check, paid, and were in the process of signing our credit card receipts and determining gratuity when the lead host appears and asks us to leave because he needs the table. We felt uncomfortable most of the time and being rushed out of the restaurant before even signing our credit receipts was just rude. After reading the reviews on other sites I think this place probably was really great about a year or so ago (before word got out). However, the management doesn't seem to be coping with success very well and this has translated into a feeling of being unwelcomed guests at
