    Absolutely Amazing Cuban Food,

This place gets two thumbs up. The food is to die for; music was perfect and the service excellent. The live music is close to the bar area - so request a table closer too the window, so you get the best of both worlds. You have to give this a try; we will be going back again and again.

    Loud music, good food

If you're looking for a nice night out where you can listen to music and have a nice meal, then this is a good place to go. But, if you have any interest in talking to the people that you are with then I would choose a different location. The music is so loud and the front dining room is so small that it is absolutely impossible to hear anyone. My family was in from out of town this weekend - and I brought them here - thought Cuban would be different food for them, in the Village, beautiful place, etc - but I was so disappointed that none of us could talk. It's not a bad place just not the right place if you want to be social.

    The best meal

At the waiters suggestion, I ordered the suckling pig dish and it was amazing. It was one of the best dinners I have had out in a long time and it was reasonably priced. I normally order seafood but I was in the mood for a change. We got there early so we were seated with out a reservation but, as others mention,I would have a reservation on the weekends. The service was good except the music can be lound if you sit by the singer.

    Great food, live music, value

Went to Havana alma de Cuba with a group of 4 last night, we were seated immediately (had a reservation) in the main room right next to the live music, ordered the grilled calamari appetizer, which was amazing, and the Ropa Vieja "La Bodeguita" (skirt steak in a plantain basket) as a main course, plantain basket was a little dry but the steak was delicious, and the whole atmosphere really made the night. Also tried my friend's Paella Valenciana, delicious with a subtle mussel taste in the rice. Make sure you have a reservation on the weekend cause this place was turning people away

The best Cuban food in the city!

I'm a very hard food critic, but I must say that I always leave this restaurant with a smile on my face. The "Chimichurri Skirt steak" dish and sangria are amazing. Make sure you get the steak medium rare. If you go on Saturday night, they play live music. Perfect place to go on a date.

Always a good meal & time!

Havana is my favorite restaurant! I always order the Pollo Al Estilo "Aljibe". The sauce is light and citrus-y, with just enough garlic to make it interesting. I've been to this restaurant with friends, and also took my parents -- who LOVED the black bean soup. Every time, the service is wonderful, with the manager always stopping by to ask how the food is.
