Best cuban food around for miles....
First time I went was with my partner...we've gone back several times since. Not only is the service great, but the staff is extra friendly. Omg let's not even get into the food! Can you say scrumptious? This is one place that will have you stuffing your face despite the I'm so full already feeling....and the patio in the back is fantabulous in the right weather. Best lil secret I've discovered in a very long time.

Loved It!
Great place, great food, great atmosphere, great prices...and check out the garden in the back. A well kept village secret!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing...
I went to Havanna for the first time this weekend. I must say that this has been the best food I have had in a LONG time that did not cost me an arm and a leg. I started with the Mofongo con Camarones (the garlic sauce is the magic touch), and then had the Langosta Enchilada, everything was delicious! The service and price were great. The only thing is that I am somewhat claustrophobic and the place is very tiny, but I think I will be willing to put up with it again.

Excellent Flavorful Cuban Food
We tried this place whe it first opened. It was OK, we tried it a few more times. It was still finding its way. Well, now they found it. And their way is truly excellent. Every dish we've triedr recently was bursting with cooked in flavor. Not added on flavor, which is so often the case these days. This is the best Cuban/Spanish place around. Their Empanadas are fabulous. Their Paella puts others to shame with its generous seafood and robust flavor. Even their rice and beans are superior. Plus they offer speedy local delivery. We are thrilled we've rediscovered Havana Alma De Cuba.

Viva la Havana
Two of the most sublime dishes I've had eating out while: Langosta Enchilada and the Filetillo Salteado ?El Chinito? with seriously the best fried rice I've had in nyc. Chinese restaurants should take cues from cuban cooking...service was affable and attentive, but didn't hawk over the table. Charming, cozy atmosphere kind of reminded me of an old havana cantina (or what I think one would be like from TV anyway)... Great first date place (worked out for me anyway...), not too loud, it's cozy but not overly romantic... Worth a visit, and probably a return one as well... Oh yeah and the sangria was beyond mind blowing, no joke best ever, and I've had a pitcher or 48 in my day...

The best cuban food in the city
Alma de Cuba has the best cuban food in this city. Everything is good and the people could not be friendly. This is a no frills place but it is cozy and warm. The outside patio is cute too. It is certainly not expensive, but I am used to good ol' miami cuban food at a cheap price. I guess you cant' have it all!

Authentic atmosphere, good food
This is a cozy little restaurant, not too crowded, not too loud, with rich spicy Cuban food. And it's a good value, too. A pleasurable experience all around.
