Great hideaway spot
Went on a date and was promptly seated with no reservations, I have to say the food was flavorful and enticing the vacca frita special was superb the Tony montana drink yes Tony montana was amazing. We will be back to enjoy the music as we had to catch a show across the street.

Bland tasting lunch
I picked up lunch. I got the Pollo Aljibe. Should be called Pollo Nada. Because it tasted like nothing. This meal was so bland. Chicken had no seasoning. Black Beans were disappointing. Never going back.

Let there be music!
I went to Havana on a Saturday night with a group of four friends. I was a bit skeptical at first from the mixed reviews I have read, but I will definitely return! The ceviche was very tasty and went well with my Tony Montana- gin and cucumber cocktail that delivered much needed refreshment from the NY humidity! I then got the red snapper which was so good that I found myself finishing it a bit faster than I probably should have. Great music! Musicians are actually Cuban. Service was good. They can be a tad overwhelming but nonetheless charming and attentive. Our waiter made us laugh and was very nice. To wrap up our dinner, I shared a tres leches with a friend- a not-too-sweet coconut and three milks dessert that melted in my mouth. One of my favorite romantic spanish songs played which put a huge smile on face. The bill didn't break my wallet. All in all, an entertaining dinner backed by good food.

Fantastico!!
I had heard about this restaurant a few years ago thru my sister.I came with my husband and his boss and wife .we truly enjoyed it .The music was so folkloric .The Blue snapper ceviche was divine then I had the paella and my husband chose the churrasco steak. My husbands boss who's Cuban actually said it felt like his mothers cooking as he spoke spanish to the musicians.I will return .The garden was a nice outdoor feel.I only wish tey had a bigger wine selection but that was ok

Never Again!!
The good ratings are highly inflated. Yes, the plece is cheap but the food was terrible. Empanadas were plain and gooey. Steak was so tough it wasn't edible--I asked for medium, but it came so charred a steak knife couldn't cut it. Dessert was awful--a soggy piece of fried dough that didn't match the menu description in the least, and was sitting in a pool of oil.. Even the mojitos were poorly made and inauthentic!!

A-mazing!
I went to Havana Alma de Cuba this weekened for my birthday celebration with a few friends and it was incredible. The menu was extensive, from drinks to apps to entrees. I had the Arroz con Polla and it was to die for. The service was friendly and attentive. I only wish I knew enough in advance to request seating in their beautiful outdoor garden. The ambiance was incredible. If you like Cuban, definitely try Alma.

They were so accomodating
We just wrapped a film and were looking for a place to take the crew and its principal actors.I was very happy that our producers and principals actually would love to return .Our party was about 25 and a moments notice the MGT gave us the red carpet . We really appreciate the appts that the chef created for us and the the shark ceviche out of this world!Sangria and mojitos a must we will return if our schedule allows.
