Great cuban food...
I've been coming here for a couple of years now....the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable. The black beans are awesome....and the sangria's ok (not the best...but the food makes up for this). The place lacks atmosphere---don't get me wrong, it's nice inside (not like a cafeteria or anything)---but maybe not the place to go with a bunch of people, hanging out...you go here with a small party, for excellent food, really nice staff, and a bill you can swallow....I highly recommend it.

A Gem in Midtown
Havana is a haven of good food, efficient waitstaff and the BEST mojito in Midtown. The daytime bartender (who has been there for as long as I can remember) is a whiz with a mojito (although he is Dominicano, not Cubano). The food is always excellent and the atmosphere relaxing and friendly. One recent Saturday afternoon my girlfriends and I went to Havana for lunch and had the place pretty much to ourselves. This gave us a chance to find out from the bartender his secret to the Mojito! He was more than generous with his recipe and the whole waitstaff was wonderful. This is an awesome place that is truly a gem in the heart of Midtown.

Like the olden days
i love this place the food taste as if mom cooked it. The place is clean, quite, and the atmosphere is wounderful. I cann't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. I definetly recomend this place for people who like food with flavor.

Relaxed and Fun Cuban Restaurant
I used to go to Havana for lunch multiple times a week when I worked in NYC. The waitresses are great, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxed. The lunch specials are the best deals, with a few specials every day of the week. I am going there tonight after a three month hiatus and I can't wait. You never feel rushed when you dine there and the food comes promptly. The waitstaff has a very low turn over - which is always a great sign. They serve plantains with every lunch special which just hit the spot. I have never had a bad meal or experience at Havana. One of NYC's little known gems.
