Not the real thing
The cuts of sushi are too large, and the fish is not very tasty. I tried an unadon (eel over rice). It is traditionally served with Japanese pickles but here, it was served with broccoli. The food here is not authentic and highly overrated. If you want to taste properly cut and carefully prepared sushi, go to Sushi of Gari.

pseudo Japanese food
the service is really disappointing considering how much this place charges for meals. haru is a mini-chain, owned by chinese folks who are cashing in on the sushi-craze. the menu is pseudo-japanese and anyone worth their salt should pass this place up for the real deal like Sachi or Tatany52

Inventive and succulent sushi
I've become, as many New Yorkers have, slightly addicted to sushi. This place, besides its convenient location near my job, is always on the money with their rolls. Especially good are Kamikaze roll and Dragon Roll. While pricier than many sushi bars, this one is worth the extra buck or two per item.
