Good food and service and more!
Not only was the sushi fresh and good; the wait staff found my prescription sunglasses and turned them in to be held for me. The General Manager responded to my email promptly and my glasses were returned to me. Wonderful!

1 hour and 45minute to deliver!
I am sorry to report I had a disappointing experience tonight with Haru it took an hour and 45 minute to deliver a simple order. The hot food was cold and the cold food (sushi) was warming up. I called 4 times with no explanation or support.

friendly..not the best fish
Pricey for what it is. Toro was so frozen. Maybe because I came on a bad day. Good selection of fish.. I sat at the sushi bar alone and was given wine on the house and crab salad on the house. Very good customer service

Still the best sushi in New York!
I grew up in Manhattan and this is still the best sushi in New York. I don't recommend eating there because it's so noisy and busy all the time, but it is the best place to order in from. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it has the best taste and it is always incredibly fresh. You'll never be disappointed with Haru!

Sushi good, Chicken not
I don't eat sushi so whenever i go to a sushi restaurant with my friends, i get the chicken teriyaki. My friends all seemed to really like their food here, but my chicken was overcooked, dry and partial burnt. Completely unedible. Everything else was fine, just don't order the chicken.

Horrible Customer Service
First, I will say that Haru has great sushi for the UES. I eat here often and I don't have a problem with the food. I do, however, have a problem with the service. I really like the food here, it's a cool place but I feel like they have pretty lousy customer service. Go here for good food but not for an accommodating, customer friendly experience.
