This review is only for sushi savvy
This is the place to meet for drinks and to nibble on appetizer. I sat at the bar with my boyfriend and I could smell fish...that does not sound good at all! But if you must have sushi, stick with rolls. Nigiri isn't worth it.

Haru Park Ave
In the last 3 weeks I have visited haru twice, once for inside dining, the other outside. Both times the service was very fast and the food was delivered fast and was delicious. The only complaint was the miso soup the second time, I could count the tofu pieces on 1 hand. Would I return, YES.

Yummy but Pricey
I order here at least twice a month. One of the best sushi places in town! The dishes to try are the duck salad, chicken teriyaki, crunchy spicy salmon/tuna and kamikaze rolls. The food is great, but on the pricey side.

Overpriced sushi
The fish & the rolls were tasty, but the portions are tiny for the price. You can probably get the same stuff for half the price elsewhere.

Quality Every Time
The filet is excellent. It is very different from a NYC steak house, both are wonderful in different ways. The sushi is also always fresh and always great!

No Go
I went here for my birthday, and had made previous reservations. We were seated immeadiately wich was a plus, but after sitting down the waiter didn't come over for a good 20 minutes. The decorations we're very sleak, and I loved the color palete. When it comes down to the food, nothing to amazing. There are a billion amazing japanese restaraunts in NYC, I don't think this one should be on the list. It isn't so much trendy but that what it comes off to me as. I had the duck, and it was greasy and the sauce was way to salty. I wouldn't go back there for the food, but maybe for a drink.

Family Experience
This was my second experience at Haru, the first very different from the second. 1st: Food, Service and Atmosphere was great. 2nd: with my family, it was a total lack of respect. It took the waiters 20 minutes before they approached us. Once we order, they brought the wrong food for my son, and it took another 20 minutes to bring the new plate. So the service was terrible. If you have a family please do not go Haru.
