A place where everybody knows your name....
I eat at least once a week here. The food is great, people take care of you and the owner is not too important to walk past you without stopping to ask how you are and just chat. You could not ask for a friendlier place to call home.

It doesn't get much better than Harry's
For a high-end, top quality meal, the total expericnce of dinner at Harry's is worth every penny. The quality of the food is excellent , as good a steak as you will ever have, and the service is what you would expect from a steakhouse of this calibre. These guys at Harry's are the gold standard the other steakhouses in NY should aspire to.

Delicious!!
I have gone to Harry's numerous times, and the new thing is filet mignon on the bone, which is out of this world. The sides, such as the cream spinach and potatoes give you a taste of heaven. The wine by the glass, which they have many choices on the menu are all at a great value. The service was quick and attentive, making a great meal even better. This is a must try for all!!

One of the best downtown
Harry's Steak is an excellent place to come any time of the day. The seafood towers are excellent, the crab legs are large, the jumbo shrimp are 4.50 a piece and they are enormous (i haven't seen larger in a very long time). The service was very good, the Maitre D' is pleasant, personable, and funny. I have been to all of the famous steakhouses downtown, and Harry's can definitely hold its own to any of them. Try the canadian bacon appetizer, seafood towers, and the NY strip.

Eh.
I have been to Harry's several times now....lunch, dinner, brunch, and drinks and apps at the bar. The table service is okay. The bar service is great! I mostly choose from the Cafe Menu which has a wonderful variety. The only thing missing is the ever popular sushi appetizer. The jumbo shrimp has gotten less and less "jumbo" especially at $4.50 per piece. The steak sandwich is AMAZING but that too has become less meaty. The sides always come out luke warm. I do, however, enjoy the french onion soup and the steaks are delicious! Watch out for the soap in the bathroom. It's that pink cheap stuff that dries out your hands. If you dine in the cafe be sure to take a walk thru the steakhouse before you leave. The stone walls with the twists and turns and tiny nooks are something else. It creates a perfect secluded and romantic setting.

Best onion rings ever...
This place was amazing! The ambiance was very relaxing and welcoming. The service was outstanding. Although I only tried the onion rings they were the best I've ever had. Their cocktails selection is unique, somthing for everyone. I would highly recommend this place.

So so.
Went here with a group of my colleagues & came away feeling like we had an okay meal. I had the tuna sandwich w/ wasabi mayonnaise which was good, but certainly not great. Our waiter was sarcastic and borderline rude, but service was prompt and efficient. The atmosphere was very nice- it was definitely a corporate lunch crowd. I'll probably go back, but only because there are not many nice places to eat lunch in the Financial District.
