good food but disappointing service
This place is in the neighborhood, and I have been there for a while. When it was the fancy diner and now the so called "Italian restaurant". The calzones are great. Thats at much I will admit, but the service by the staff is awful. Do they really think we are doing them a favor? Cause thats how they act. Absolutely rude. I sat at the bar for at least 20 minutes before even being acknowledged and it was empty. When the bartender finally arrived, he acted as though I was a headache instead of a paying customer in this troubling economy. I gave this place several shots because the calzones are soooo good, but the service is just so offensive I will not return. I have given them 5 tries and it gets worse with each shot. I dine often and many restaurants and this service s by far the worst. Good Luck if you give it a try.

great value
Packed on a Wednesday night. Service at your fingertips. The house salad was great, large portion-who could eat that much? Round thin crust pizza with slightly burnt crust ( the way it should be ) could be the best outside of Rome! And the Chicken Godzilla ( breaded chicken with chopped tomatoes and onions- I used to know this as Chicken Milanase ) was out of this world and the portion was so large I had take home. Try the house red wine-great value. I am going back every single week!

Overpriced.
Not overpriced for Manhattan, overpriced for the portion sizes. I ordered the Veal in The Oven twice this week, family size portion, but both times the portions were ridiculously small. The slices of eggplant that covered the veal were bigger than the veal itself! I know that we're in a recession, but c'mon!? I had a better meal in Little Italy, one of the biggest tourist trap streets in Manhattan. Prove me wrong Harry !

The Best Pizza In Manhattan
As my 8 year old son said " If Jesus was alive this is the Pizza he would eat" It is that simple as a Pizza snob from Brooklyn, I am finally able to get a great pie in Manhattan.

Slow delivery
But worth the wait. Old fashioned pizza was good. bit burnt on bottom, but worked round it.

Bravo to Harry and staff
start to finish was one big, long treat. We felt like we were dining in Italy because of the quality of the ingredients and the flavors of everything we ordered. Can't wait to go back!

Surprising!
We weren't expecting much but I was desperately hankering for spaghetti. The delivery was remarkably quick (in pouring rain) and the portion was huge (somehow we, rather suspiciously, thought family-sized would be enough for a family of mice)! Now here we are, staring at the left-overs from the ONE dish we ordered, desperately wishing we had room for more. It was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Cheap too. We are genuinely shocked at the value. Well done Harry's! Keep it up and you'll own th e 'hood. Louise and Jeremy
