I ate at Harry's today with a friend. We'd never been there before but we wanted to sit outside and we figured, how could you mess up mexican? Well, we should've known by the syrupy thin frozen margaritas that we should walk out right then. After a very long wait our food finally arrived. My chicken quesadillas had undercooked, fatty dark meat that was quite questionable. I could go to McDonald's and get white meat! My friend had a burrito and both of our orders were soggy and unappetizing looking. My quesadilla was completely tasteless and they charged me a $1 for salsa that looked and tasted like it was from a can. We never received our chips and salsa and everyone who worked there looked like they couldn't have cared less. If a waiter or maitre d' saw how much we left over, they should have asked if evrything was ok. We were much happier with our Pinkberry that we had for dinner instead!

You do get what you expect. I agree with the comment about their orders - always get messed up. I just go there now to pick up if I ever eat there. It's pretty greasy and heavy Mexican food -the kind that is wonderful for a hangover.

Harry's food is very hit or miss and is expensive for what it is (and not close to being authentic Mexican -- if you want that go to the Super Taco truck on 96th and Bway), but 50% of the time they screw up the orders for delivery and then take forever to fix up their messes. Not worth the hassle quite honestly. We've ordered from Harry's about 8 times over the last 12 months and on this last order they screwed up 3 out of 4 dishes and left the drinks out (and the soup was inedible).

Harr'ys has never made any claims to be gourmet mexican food. If you are looking for a dining experience, go to elsewhere. However, if you are looking to eat dinner out, and have a good time, join the party at Harry's. My girlfriend and I usually try and go early, enjoy many drinks during happy hour, then head upstairs for dinner. It's the best value there is here. Beware of delivery here. The food doesn't travel incredibly well, and they charge a 10% service charge on your delivery.

This food is decent at Harry's, but the place has the poorest, most indifferent service imaginable for a restaurant of this kind.

I live in the area and had wanted to try this place for awhile. It was always packed so I thought food has to be fgood. I was horribly mistaken. The chips had to be prepackaged they were not fresh. I had the burrito as this place is famous for them. It was just a wrap with chicken and rise tossed in. There was no cheese and the wrap was cold. I knew we were in trouble when we got our appetizer the avocado rolls. It was a toritilla with slices of avocado and lettuce tucked in, flavorless and cheaply done.

I have never complained or left a meal, but my recent trip to Harry's Burritos had me doing both. The service was extremely poor; food was forgotten, late, and incorrect. The food had clearly been sitting under heat lamps, waiting for our neglectful server. My chicken quesadilla had very little chicken and cheese, which is the whole point of such a meal. Once we complained, a manager came over and offered very little apology.
