  • Harry's Burritos

    You're kidding, right?

I went to the one on Columbus, and ordered the Taco Platter (beef and chicken). While I was waiting, I asked for chips & salsa. The chips were obviously machine made, and warmed up to try to mask their staleness. The salsa was embarrassingly mild, and looked like it had just been poured out of a jar. The tacos arrived. One was shaped like a 'u' (great), and the other like a 'j' (huh?) No shredded lettuce. It was all rather disappointing, and they charged $2+ for the chips and salsa! I will never go there again. Gabriella's is much better.

    Surprisingly Bad

My husband and I love the other Harry's location, and we assumed the Columbus location would be excellent as well. I ordered the Super Veg Burrito. All it had on it was a very thin layer of black beans (I could count them) and rice. It was so thin that I thought it was an enchilada. They forgot to put the cheese on it and they ran out of their fresh salsa. My husband had similar problems w/ his food. I would have been happier with Taco Bell. I will go back to Harry's other location, but we unfortunately will never return to this location.

Been going for over 10 years....

I have been going to Harry's for over 10 years, and I will never stop. Although through the years the portion size has dropped a bit, Harry's will always satisfy your hunger and tastebuds! The portions are still very generous to your stomach, most people cannot finish their massive plates of food! The nachos although towards the end get a bit soggy, actually taste better and better with each bite. Their Burritos are the best and the atmosphere is fun. The bar area is too small, but the drinks are good. The drinks are pricey, so I say stick to water. If you taste the table jalapeno sauce, you're going to need it any way! Harry's is a great place to go during the summer, sitting outside and watching the passer by's on Columbus Ave. is great. During the winter sitting indoors in the small restaurant makes one feel cozy. The Chicken Tortilla Pie is amazing and I have yet to find that dish anywhere else. If you like good food, good prices, and want to have a good time, go to HARRY'S BURRITO'S on Columbus Ave!!!!

    Damn satisfying

I have been to Harry's twice: once with my best friend and once with my boyfriend. I had a different experience each time, but both will make me go back for more. My friend and I ate inside on a cold day, and though it took a while for the waitress to get around to us, we ate in a fun environment and had scrumptious food and naughtily powerful drinks. My boyfriend and I ate outside at the end of the summer, and though it was crowded, we could get a seat with not too long a wait, and it was a good experience. He and I split some platter for two and we are big eaters and it was enough and satisfying. We left full, but that not-too-full that makes you happy. We did have to pay for the salsa fresca, which is a dumb move on their part, I think, but I'll be back for more anyhow. By the way, my boyfriend is from the Southwest, and knows good burritos when he eats 'em. And these were fiiiiine. Recommended, especially for a girls' night out!!!
