    Simply Terrific Food

Harriet's is purely homemade, and delicious. The burger is fantastic, but the true thing that's distinguishes Harriet's are the chicken wings. A PERFECT football snack. I can not believe Harriet's has yet to expand.

    Great Burger

This is a burger place, not a place for chicken or key lime pie or whatever. Order the burger, morons, and don't obsess over service and whatever else, this isn't Union Square Cafe. The burgers are really good and the fries are fine but not quite as good as the burger demands.

    Disappointing

I order from Harriet's fairly frequently for the last five years. Lately, the amount of food given is ridiculously small. One of my faves was sauteed lemon chicken with linguine. There was so few pieces of chicken and the sauce was watery. What a shame. A good neighborhood place gone downhill

    Great hamburger

Harriet's is great for non-greasy home-cooked takeout. The hamburger is the real deal - not a patty. I also love the chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and the roast or fried chicken. The mashed potatoes are real and the gravy is good. Good but greasy mac and cheese. And if you are sick, the chicken soup is a must. The food doesn't have a take-out feel. On the downside, sometimes it can take a long time and they often forget to put in utensils or requested extra sides of gravy. Be very clear over the phone.

    Inconsiderate

I had ordered from them a few times with adequate service/food, then one night my bf and I ordered in dinner from them and after it had been an hour and a half and they didn't show up- I called. They told me that I was out of the delivery area, which is odd to begin with since I had gotten delivery there a few times before, but the thing that really bugged me is that they didn't even call me to tell me that they weren't delivering the food!

Harriet's Fried Chicken = Disappointing Football Snack

Whoever previously reviewed Harriet's Kitchen as a 3-4 star experience clearly owns/works at Harriet's Kitchen.

Great Telephone Manner and Great Food!

I was so pleased with the level of customer service I received while placing a to-go order I would have still given this place a positive review if the food hadn't been great. But the food was great, too. I loved my cheeseburger and fresh cut fries. The gazpacho was not the best ever, but it was refreshing on a hot, muggy day. The delivery was quick, and the prices are wonderful. Most places are over $10 for a burger with fires, so it was nice to pay $8. We will definately order from them again and again.
