It's cold and raining, the restaurant is mostly empty, and I'm waiting for 2 people - I understand the policy of not seating incomplete parties, but don't you think this might have been a moment to make an exception? When we're seated, it's so loud we have to scream to be heard. We order our burgers immediately; it takes half an hour to arrive, and one is wrong - guess we didn't scream loud enough for the server to hear. But we made do, and the burgers were good. Overall, Harlem Tavern is not great, but it'll do if you're not in a rush.

My husband I ended up here for brunch. We were seated outside to realize the music was too loud. We order our beverages and meal. My husband ordered the "Cod Fish Po Boy"; I ordered the "Spring Omelette" added goat cheese with the dressing on the side. Meals arrive, my husbands meal is warm, my omelette had no cheese, salad was tossed in dressing. I address it to be asked if I want it taken back? It comes back with two cold slices of goat cheese n butter on the side. I was told it was olive oil. Well the citrus vinaigrette indicated in the menu never arrived. Will not return.

The outdoor patio is huge and nice, if you are not near the inside noise. This is a busy place, and the outdoor patio was full on a Sunday night. We had the very juicy turkey burger, which appears to be all white meat turkey. This is in no way fine dining, and not meant to be, so see the menu beforehand and choose accordingly.

I have been here several times and each times does not disappoint! I am head over heels in love with the seafood gumbo. The rice and cornbread is a nice touch to the meal. Although on the spicy side if you have aslight cold it will open up your nasal passage. I highly recommend this spot, I almost drove from Queens to Harlem just for a taste.

Fun and trendy spot. Love the huge outdoor seating. Drinks are good. Wing appetizer is yummy. Tuesday lobster special is good, although the teeny weeny little piece of corn could have been much bigger! Overall this place has made it onto my list of "spots" to go.

I thought Harlem Tavern's food menu was to be avoided, but then I tried the wings and burgers -- talk about mouth watering! I can't wait to go back. Try the Turkey Burger with the Turkey Bacon and Housemade Remoulade Sauce -- it was delicious with a side of sweet potato fries, and without the bun its 100% gluten free. Can't wait to go back.
