Harlem BBQ

This is a great spot for reasonable BBQ. Everything is very fresh, and the portions are extremely generous. Went with a group of six and we were all very happy with our meals. Half of our party took leftovers home with them.

Today was my first time at Harlem BBQ. The food was excellent. I received the bill and charged it. When the waiter brought me the charge receipt to sign, I gave an 18% tip. It wasnt until I was outside that I realized that the bill was too high. I then looked on the itemized bill that was behind my copy of the charge to discover that they had already added a 15% tip! I went back in and told waiter that no where on the lunch menu did it state that the gratuity would automatically be added. I won't go back. While I probably should have looked at the itemized bill, I believe they assume most people don't Seemed a bit sneaky.

We took 18 people there for a birthday celebration. No one complained which is almost impossible with my family. The service was great and patient Ages 9 to 83 were all well fed and sharing. The drinkers drank and seemed to be happy with them, they kept getting more. I was pleasantly suprised by the bill. All in all a great time. We'll be back.

I never try chicken and waffle before and I have to tell you it was pretty good. The waffles where very crunchy and the chicken was very crispy. They also have good drinks

The food is delicious, but what ever you do, do not get food delivered. They will always forget something. I called to tell them they missed something in my order and waitied another 45 minutes for it. I also think they are over priced.

This place had one of the best chicken in Manhattan and very good soup. Today the food was not good at all, tasteless chicken and under cook ribs with very bad service. Drinks are still good.

Although this is a BBQ's knock off, I enjoyed it. The food was good and so was the service. The drinks were great and their selection of desserts were surprising. Reasonably priced. I definitely will go back.
