fried shrimp!
Best spot to get fried shrimp, not your typical breaded stuff that every other Chinese spot serves. Even Kum Kau ain't got ish on Hardee's Fried Shrimp. That's right I said it!

the best jumbo shrimp in brooklyn!
hardee is a little neighborhood gem that ive passed by many times, labeling it as just another chinese restaurant, but low and behold, its anything but. the jumbo shrimp were so big and juicy, cooked to perfection. theres always a steady flow of patrons at hardee and with good reason, the food is really good! also recommended is the sauteed string beans, they also have burgers, onion rings, fries as well as chinese cuisine. you must visit at least once, and guaranteed youll be back

cheap and cheerful
you have to love this place. it's cheap, the food is all prepared fresh on site, and the owner will memorize your order, ask about your dog and kids (if you have any) and did i mention it's cheap? it's a standard chinese menu, and most everything i've ordered, from lo mein to garlic chicken is good. also, i think their hidden gem is their turkey burger!! it's the only actual item on the menu that isn't made from scratch (the patties are purchased) but it's delicious and a steal at $2. oh and the giant iced teas and lemonades are perfection! fort greene chinese food that wins.
