Honestly, if you don't expect it to be a gourmet restaurant, and take it for what it is, it's not bad at all. If you're a fan of eggs and potatoes kind of breakfast, this is the place to go. I love the eggs over easy + home fries + turkey sausage and bacon platter. It's great. Their fries are great. Nothing to complain about. Prompt delivery.

Only in the Wall Street area would a place like this survive. The food is spotty at best, and at worst wouldn't fly in a food court i the middle of the country. Hanover Deli is neither clean, nor is the food good. Thankfully, the downtown situation is changing. Frankly, I hope that Hanover Deli can get its act together. It appears to be a family run business, which is ALWAYS a good thing. Someone there needs to learn how to cook, becuase they are not going to be able to coast on their location as more places open up in the area.

There's very little places to order from in the neighborhood on the weekend - and I have frequented this place during the week and it's great! But...Sunday they took about an hour to get here and the food wasn't up to par- the panini wasn't even grilled. Best bet to order/visit weekdays only.

The service is fast! Plenty of selection!

Expensive. Staff is very courteous, although a bit rushed.

I recently started working in the Financial District and my determination to find a geat deli where I could enjoy breakfast and lunch was fulfilled when I found Hanover Deli. Not only is the restaurant inpeccably clean (which is one of my major criteria), but the staff is friendly and super accomadating. The varied menu items are well prepared, and fairly priced, which is an unexpected surprise in this day and age of inflated NYC food prices. I even have my co-workers hooked on Hanover's smoothies and create your own salads!
