    Lunch Take Out

I have worked close to Hane Sushi for some time and never gave it a shot. I am an avid sushi lover and somewhat hard to please but I enjoyed my lunch! The sushi was good and the roll lunch special was a good value. Its not the best but its good enough!

    Good Sushi, excellent main courses

Murray Hill is hardly the place you would expect to find a good sushi restaurant. Hane was around the block from where I lived, and my first venture into the small bland space was without high expectations. As a committed and regular sushi consumer, I can say this place is very good. The sushi is great (to get better you'd have to go really really high end); standard yardsticks - toro, uni all come through very well. What is really exceptional, though, are some of their fusion main courses, including Black Cod Yuzu Miso - made famous by Nobu but very well executed here (possibly even better). The tuna main course and a few others are also wonderful.

    Really, it's quite good

I am not a member of the Sushi Elite, but I eat at sushi/Japanese restaurants regularly. I have to say, I really enjoy Hane. The staff is extremely courteous, the atmosphere is inviting, and most importantly, the food is delicious. The variety of rolls is great, and the entrees (I've had the Sunflower Chicked) and appetizers (great tempura) are tasty as well. I think Hane is worth the trip. I have never left unsatisfied, and I always leave full.

    Great place

Love the Sushi here, always fresh , great service. Highly reccomend the Tuna Carpacio and mango/seaweed Salad. The below poster is most likely an idiot , Im guessing from Jersey, Pensylvania, ordering California rolls. Sushi always tastes bad when you order it takeout! Nothing tastes good eating it out of a styrofoam box. Ive never been disappointed eating here and I go farily often with clients to Sushi Yasuda up the block .

    Confused

I ordered delivery from here based on reviews that I read. I do not know who ate here and posted such raving reviews...but I was highly disappointed. Not only was the sushi skimpy, but it was also odd tasting. The green salad consisted of JUST LETTUCE, no tomatoes, cucumbers - nothing. They didn't even give us real soy sauce! Instead we received watered down sweet tasting sauce. A complete disappointment. I would not recommend this place whatsoever.

    Excellent sushi

We are new to the Murray Hill neighborhood and ordered from here for the first time tonight after reading the positive reviews on Menupages. The sushi was excellent and the presentation was lovely! Everything we tried was great, but in particular we liked the yellowtail sushi, the spicy crispy tuna roll and the dragon roll. Plus, the delivery was very quick. This will definitely become one of our go-to restaurants in the area.

    Very Average

Whats up with all the excitement about this place? There are so many better places to go to. Fish was nothing special.
