If you don't feel like walking ....
The sushi bar could be improved by the removal of the huge flat screen televisions. The food is OK ... Mainly I eat at Hane because it's close to home.

Not what it use to be
I live close by and have eaten there since it opened. The food is still above average but the service has been terrible my last few visits.

Poor Service Quality at Lunchtime
I eat frequently at Hane since its opening. I was quite impressed with the staff's excellent service early on but I noticed that the quality of service has been deteriorating. Lately, the table service has been appalling. On several occasions, when I (or friend(s)) ask for a beverage or a forgotten sauce dish, these items were placed literally at the edge of the table even during those times when the restaurant wasn't very busy. I must say that the bus boys continue to do an excellent job.

Beware of the misleading "Specials"
I have been here a few times mainly for the 2-1 drinks, but the sushi is fair. I noticed the Wednesday special was 50% off salmon. The server informed me that this only applied to pieces of sushi and sashimi, so I ordered a few pieces. When the check came, I noticed I was charged full price, and when I asked the server why, she replied that she told me the 50% off was only applicable on the "Fresh Salmon"? She never told me this and it's not specified on the menu at all. She was also extremely rude about it. I won't be going back.

could do better...
well, this place is just another example of good theme gone bad. first of all there is nothing japanese about this joint. not even one japanese in the whole of staff. the only japanese you hear is when they great you on your way in and you are not sure who greeted you. however, food is awesome. spicy tuna rolls, and spicy salmon are my favourites. i have been there for at least 4 times and every time service was poor. phony and unsincere service. my wrong order took 35 minutes to get back to me fixed and it was my appetizer. its worth trying for once just for the shake of the food quality. but food quality is not the only thing u want your joint to get going on... quick service will make this place awesome...

Best sushi in the neborhood
Hane has a great selection of japinease fusion food, i mean great. The service is quick, with a nice atmosphere (a little tackie but still nice). the price is pretty good, especially for the quality. overall the place is just great!

2 for 1 drinks
cannot be missed. Makes dinner very reasonable. on a side note..Spicy tuna tartar appetizer is delicious. but a tad overpriced
