If you are in a pinch and don't want to spend that much, Hanco's is okay. Compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, the banhmi sandwiches and noodles are a few notches below. Service is also very average. But given the lack of choices in this neighborhood, it's okay value.

Not amazing but will do the job if its what you are craving. Only complaint is that the lunch specials are a bit of a joke, you basically just save a few cents on a drink that you maybe didn't even want. Round up the cost and throw in a spring roll or something!

Okay so I needed somewhere to eat and so I decided to order from hancos! It was a great decision and I loved their food! If you're looking for a great place to eat or to order. Their bubble tea is amazing (especially the mango), and their phos are outstanding. This is truly a great place to eat!

So many bad restaurants in this area, this is such a welcome addition. I can't really speak for many menu items, but the barbecued pork sandwiches are a guilty pleasure. Wow are they good. Tasty, crispy toasted French bread, great meat and fairly generous, spicy tangy sauce, the cut of the pickled carrots and daikon radishes... mmm. Pretty fast delivery too. The Thai tea, bubble tea is very good also. Was not so impressed with the Pho but not bad either. By the way, in comparison to other places, its orders of magnitude better. They have sort of a strange set up when you eat in. You order, then get the check and walk to the back of the restaurant and down a few steps (its laid out like a railroad apartment) where they have a pick up counter.

Hanco's is really really good. The barbecued pork sandwiches are outstanding (and reasonable). I didn't love their bubble teas but that's not what I come for. This area of Brooklyn is a restaurant wasteland (most are mediocre to terrible) and this place is really a welcome addition.

I gave up hoping for great takeout in Brooklyn Heights long ago...but Hanco's is fantastic! We ordered last week for the first time and had a beef Pho, a bahn mi and the rice vermicelli with shrimp. It was all fantastic. The Pho was a huge standout (gorgeously packaged) and it will now be my standard order when i'm feeling under the weather. The Bahn mi and vermicelli were also stellar. Delivery was also less than 15 minutes. This is our new go-to when we don't feel like cooking.
