    Friendliness is KEY

Good food and all, but service is really bad. I've gone there a few times, and each time I have a story or two about some pretty rude waiters. Anywhere from trying to rush you out, to actually demanding a high tip from you.

    Extremely subpar service

Our server would tell us our choices for dressings, drinks and sides, then decide for us without waiting for our response. Example: "That comes with soup or rice." "what kind of soup?" "miso, i'll just give you rice". I took my mother to this restaurant on a whim because we were in the mood for sushi. I'm an easy-going person and I've worked in the restaurant business so I know that it can be stressful. But the service was so ridiculously rude to me and especially to my mother I will not be back.

    Quick Delivery - always fresh

This place is definitely my delivery go-to for fresh Japanese food. They are very quick with delivery. Do not expect friendly service when you order though - they are very quick/rude seeming on the phone (one woman in particular - scary), but i've come to realize upon picking up orders that it's not really intended -that's just how she talks. Also - delivery people seem somewhat rude and don't really say much, BUT it's proven to be delicious food and certainly worth it time and time again.

    Poor Experience Also

The same thing happened to me with my takeout order (more than once). I called back and told them that they did not give me the rolls I asked for - she put me on hold, came back on the line and told me that I was wrong they gave me the rolls I asked for. I told her so I am not looking at shrimp and avocado???? She said we gave you shrimp and cucumber. Basically that they were right and I was wrong. I was pissed and said i would never order takeout again. But the food is good for the price.

    Poor experience

i've been a customer at Hana for over a year now. i order at least 2 times a week. in my most recent delivery order one of the rolls was missing. i called to explain what happened and they basically called me a liar and didn't believe me. after even acknowledging that i was a regular customer, they still refused to replace the missing rolel i am so disappointed in the service and definitely never order from them again. i recommend you don't bother either.

    Great lunches

I order from here for lunch and am always happy. The lunch rolls are a great value. Honestly, I don't expect the finest tuna flown in by helicopter, I stick to eel and spider rolls. Also the tempura lunch special is GIGANTIC and perfectly done, I love it. I went there for dinner once and saw none other than Barishnikov. That's an endorsement right there!

    Sushi Clip Joint

This place like most sushi restaurants serves totally tasteless fish. This usually means it was frozen or just a cheap cut. I guess that is why "rolls" are so popular , they are all mayo and cheap flavor hits. The waitress hustled me into two "Specials" one was 1 scallop sliced thin that had no taste and cost $7 . The other was shrimp heads deep fried. Also $7. Like most deep fried seafood that tasted OK but should probably cost $2. The waitress grabbed every empty plate out from under my chin to speed me along. Hate that.
