If you like Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or even Thai food, Korean food may not be your liking. I wanted a real korean food experience so I didn't order the fried rice, noodle or bbq but a couple of uniquely korean dishes: the pork and sausage stew with its array of small preserved vegetable dishes and a bowl of "on-knee" ox meat with its accompanying soup. The latter is just beef tendon meat, nothing new to chinese cuisine. The portion was generous and yummy if you like that type of meat but you'll have to season it yourself. The pork stew was so foreign to any asian dish I've had. It had no hints of the other asian cuisine but was probably uniquely korean. It was inedible, the korean sausage tasted like vienna sausage, the korean ham tasted like luncheon meat, the porkbelly was dry and lacked any flavor. It was spicy but had no savoryness to it. It was just so bizarre! But if you enjoy spicy, pungent, and a change up from safe asian cuisine, this is a good place to start your korean food adventures.

I eat here when I am in NYC and am craving Korean Food. The service is always friendly, the restaurant clean and the food delicious. I have only eaten the Bi Bim Bap in the stone pot because you can't find anything like it in Hawai`i. The best part is the crunchy rice at the end of the meal (the rice that sticks to the stone pot). So `Ono (delicious).

I like the Sul Run Tang. Fast delivery. Cheaper than other Korean places. Thank you Han bat!

This place consistently serves the best Korean food in the city. I've been going here for a number of years now and can always count on great food and generous portions. Highly recommend.

i'm korean from korea. this is the place i go when i miss homey korean food. especially the soups - spicy beef and scallion soup and bean paste soup are my favorites. always reliable and never pretentious. i recently "discovered" that they deliver too. i feel bad ordering just one soup dish but can't resist odering in, especially during cold days. thank you for delivering home comfort. from ###third ave girl

A co-worker introduce me to Han Bat and I found the food quite amazing. I love it so much that I had it again the following work week! I also that the prices were quite responsible.

I'm not korean, and my impression of this restaurant is that it's considered more like a diner. The menu is a little more accessible to non-koreans, They're open all the time, the service is pretty quick, but the ambiance is slightly less geared for an intimate barbeque. But the food is good, the appetizers generous and the service quick. Recommended as a trusty place to go.
