its called HEARTY for a reason
Everyone seems to say its pricey but if you consider the fact that with a small soup you are more full than with other soup places, you realize its worth the money. Their soups are great! If you still find a reson to complain...ask to taste each soup then buy yours, you'll be so full from tasting that you wont finish your own..save it for lunch the next day. The only downfall is its cash only

Good soup, but pricey
Soup is very, very good, but pricey! Don't even think about going in at 12:30.... the line is so long it will take up your entire lunch half-hour. Go at 12 and get the soups that are available everyday (they are cheaper so you can get a bigger size). I highly recommend the Split Pea, and for the specialty soupd the Creamy Tomato is out of this world!

You get what you pay for
If H&H is too expensive try Au Bon Pain's soups. H&H is not such a bad deal when you consider the product you get. There are so many cheap food places it's nice to get Good soup, even if it's not at cheap prices. The portions are just right so you can walk away w/a $5 soup for lunch. At a cheap place you may get a monstrous soup for $5 but the only value is the quantity, not the quality. A good lunch for $5 isn't expensive. Let's be honest. If you eat a lot it will cost you more but it's worth it. They are made well and it's Real food. I'm sorry, but you do get what you pay for.

Good Soup
The soup was great, the price seems to be a little bit too much for the amount of soup.
