I ordered at 12:10pm. Order was supposed to be delivered no later than 2:25. At 3pm I called to inquire. After being put on hold for 5min he returned to the line as if I had just called, so I had to give him the information again. So he puts me on hold again and returns saying the guy is "on his way". 15 min. later I get a call from such guy who claims to be in the lobby. I go down and there's no one there! I was livid. I had not eaten breakfast and now it was almost dinnertime. I waited to no avail. Finally I called and canceled the order. This kind of service is unpalatable...would you believe it, time now is 3:51pm and I just received another call from the same guy from the lobby. They've got to be joking.....nearly 4 hours later? They must be joking.

On a trip to New York, I found the soups here lovely. The Seafood Pot Pie was delicious as was the Tomato & Cheddar. I will most definately return for more soup. They let you taste all the soups on offer before you buy. Clean service, well recommendded.

I ordered lunch from Hale & Hearty for the first and last time. I always see my co-workers ordering their food and expected it to taste like something! I had the turkey pot pie soup and tuna salad sandwich combo. The soup was warm. That's where the praise stops. The taste was nothing like any turkey pot pie I'd ever had. I don't know what the taste was. The turkey didn't even taste like turkey. Coulda been tofurky for all I know. The half of a sandwich that I received... It seemed old. There was a full teaspoon of bland, dry tuna salad on the funny-smelling bread, a piece of shriveled up lettuce and a piece of soggy tomato. Maybe, I just got 'em on a bad day.

On a recent visit to NYC, four of us stopped by to have lunch. We were amazed by the number of delicious soups, sandwiches and salads that were available for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff extremely accomodating. Since there were so many delicious soup offerings, you could sample as many as you wanted before making your selection. Since all tasted were excellent, it was a difficult choice but made us want to return and make other choices. The restaurant and lavatory facilities were very clean . A most enjoyable experience and I will return to this location and recommend it to friends.
