    no deliveries past 2nd AVENUE?!?!?!?!?!

Today i was craving some cream of tomato soup and was so happy that this one had it, since in the past its been so good. i'm going on a huge trip tomorrow and couldn't leave my house and decided to order some soup, salad, and sandwich. however, when i told them my address, they told me they don't deliver past 2nd Avenue and i live between sutton and first! and i'm one number block away from them...total of 5 blocks away...and they wouldn't deliver. the manager gave me some BS excuse that he doesn't have the delivery person back from his former deliveries yet. I'm a manager at a cafe in the area and sometimes do deliveries MYSELF when my delivery person is out doing deliveries. MAKES NO SENSE! so if you live east of 2nd avenue and are craving soup, might as well chalk it up and accept you will not get delicious hale and hearty soup. not gonna even go there anymore. They also told me to order from the 64th street h&h, and they didn't even have cream of tomato. UGH!

    Tomato Sauce with crackers

Ordered the shrimp bisque and it basically tastes like tomato sauce with 5 pieces of shrimp dumped in there. No creativitiy or taste to this soup. Hate the idea that Soup International franchised but might have to pick that store next for a cup of soup.

    Still Looking for Great Soup

The soup here is O.K., but overpriced for what you're getting. Also, some of the selections are pretty greasy. The service leaves much to be desired. The International Soup Kitchen is much better.
