Great Food, somewhat pricey but worth it
It tends to take a little while to get a delivery but that is because it is so busy. Its busy because they offer the best soup around, a fantastic selection, and yes, its a bit pricey but its totally worth it.

Good soup, overpriced
Gruff service, uncomfortable stores, outrageous prices, but very decent soup.

Yummy, yummy
Nothing tastes better in the cool fall weather than a nice cup of thick soup and a half of sandwich. Hale and Hearty is my one and only go-to place for lunch.

Hit and miss
First time I ordered from them, I was unimpressed. The soup was thin, greasy, and not all that flavorful. Hadn't gone back in a long time. However, tonight, craving something warm in the snowy weather, I stopped in and got a large container of their seafood chowder. It's a little steep at $7.99, but it was worth it. Delicious, with real seafood (clams, shrimp, etc.). Apparently, quality depends on which soup you get, and the prices can be a bit much.

Not cheap, but great quality
I got the broccoli cheddar soup, and the flavor was excellent. But the texture threw me off. For some reason the soup was all blended, like they had pureed it or something. I suddenly felt like I was eating baby food. I like to have whole broccolis, or at least small chunks in my soup. But, like I said it tasted delicious. I think i'll go back and try another kind.

Damn that's good soup
I ordered from them for the first time today. Shrimp bisque and a turkey sandwich. Normally Bisques don't have a lot of meat... that's just the nature of the beast. A little bit is common but this soup was overflowing with shrimp. Made for a very pleasant surprise halfway through eating it. (I hadn't been digging for shrimp so there was a LOT at the bottom) The sandwich was good but not amazing. Also got a rice krispy treat. The total was $18. Not cheap, but so damn good.

The Best Soup On Earth
The first time I went to Hale&Hearty was a disaster. The lines were out of this world and one of the servers was rude. I decided to give it another try and was amazed. I ordered like three soups that day (one for my friend). Macaroni and cheese, corn chowder and another larger Mac and cheese! I am now officially addicted to this store. What do they put in their soups that make you come back constantly?
