Excellent Caribbean food
This restaurant serves amazing food. I went to Blue Nile last year with some friends and was almost brought to tears by the delicious stuffed seabass. I will definitely be going back!

Holy crap this is good
This place is actually the "Blue Nile" but it does serve halal west indian and american cusine. The price/lb is really generous and the lady behind the counter in the mornings always rounds down. She's a real sweetheart and if you're down she's always up for having a conversation with patrons. The vegetarian stuff is amazing. 3 different kinds of rice and wonderfully spiced potato options. The salad bar always looks good, and there's a wonderful assortment of perfectly seasoned beans and vegetables. All the stuff is made fresh and you can tell as the cook is constantly bringing out new trays. You can even see into the kitchen from the buffet line. It's clean and the dining area is clean too. But even though I'm vegetarian I can tell the real reason most people come here is for the fish, lamb, chicken, etc. Never tried it but I always here people talking about how good it is or how far they came to pick it up. I go here almost every weekend for lunch and it fills me up for under $5. A true neighborhood gem. Some people might not like the indianpop(?) on in the background but it doesn't really bother me.
