    Delicious Tofu Teriyaki, Nice Service

I really like this little, unpretentious, but delicious place. The food isn't particularly notable, but it's all very fresh and delicious. The tofu teriyaki is my favorite, but I also love several of the shrimp dishes. A great bargain, I think.

    Best in the area

While I wouldn't say this is the best Japanese food, it is better than it's nearby options. It will do in a pinch if you are craving Japanese food. Much tastier than other nearby inedible competitors. The lunch bento box is a good deal. The chicken teriyaki is not very good, but the salmon teriyaki is quite fresh and tasty!

    Great Delivery Experience!

I read the so-so reviews from the last few raters and decided to give this place a try anyway. So glad I did! I live in Harlem and the restaurant is on the UWS - was surprised to hear that they deliver over 40 blocks up and only charge a $1 extra. My delivery took a total of 30min from the time of my phone call, wow! I got three rolls for lunch and all the fish was very fresh and yummy. Definitely a good price for the value and quality of fish.

    gross

I went to this restaurant on a double date and it everything was bland. The rice was stale in all of the rolls as well. The only good thing about this place is that the lunch specials are very inexpensive, but overall I do not recommend it at all.

    Amazing

I love this place. It's expensive for dinner ( but worth it) so I always go here for lunch. The lunch specials are great and surprisingly cheap. This place is a surprising addition to the UWS.

    Bland and overpriced

Those 3 words -- bland and overpriced -- sum up my experience here. My girlfriend and I paid $50 for shrimp dumplings that could have come straight from the box in the freezer, a seafood hot pot that was remarkably short of any flavor and a simple plate of sushi. The sushi rice was thick, almost doughy and unseasoned, and the ingredients tasted cheap (cue imitation crab). It wasn't the worst meal we've ever had, but it just wasn't worth the final bill by a long shot. The only positive was the sleek decor _ which might explain why the place seemed fairly busy.

    Yummy for dinner time!

I got a few of their house specialty rolls....good! It's just my preferential taste but I would not get their lobster mango roll again....but I also do not prefer sweet things. Their sushi bullet is very good and I would DEF recommend to get that! Overall, I am happy w/ this place and would def come back! :)
