    Best delivery in the neighborhood

I order from here at least once a week. Super fast and affordable. And delicious! Malaysian Chx Curry is my go to dish. Spring rolls are fantastic. And I love the Bullet Roll too.

    I loved it!

I don't know why this place is getting such bad reviews! Granted, I've only had the happy hour 3 for $9.95...but they were some of the BEST appetizers I have ever had. Also, I sat at the bar and the bartender was soooooo nice and talkative and helpful to someone new in the city. :)

    Two great experiences

I also felt the need to write a review based on the negative reviews I've read. I've eaten at Hachi twice now and have had a good experience both times. The food was very good and the atmosphere is beautiful. I have had the hot and sour soup both times which was delicious, the yellowtail serano with ponzu sauce which was very good and very fresh tasting, and I ordered a few sushi items the first visit and the orange chicken on the second visit. All of my orders were very good. The service isn't incredibly fast but it's not bad at all. My friends did not enjoy the caipirinhas, but that's not really an asian specialty, so I couldn't be too mad at that. I definitely recommend Hachi.

The food was so unappetizing that we couldn't finish it. Greasy, tasted like burned oil, not fresh. Might as well be eating chinese takeout. Even the edamame was disappointing! Dumpling dough sticks to your mouth.

    Fast, affordable delivery.

I feel inclined to throw in my two cents since I noticed more than a few negative reviews. I like Hachi--the food is great, and their delivery is fast and friendly. Have I had the occasional bland fried rice? Yes. Have I wished for a bit more food for the entree price? Yep. BUT: the appetizer menu is extensive, fun and cheap. The sushi hits the spot, and is totally affordable. Their noodle dishes are great and filling. It's nice to have Hachi as another Asian option in the hood, and it's worth a try.

I'm never ordering from here again. The owner of this place should focus on one type of asian food instead of trying to cover all of southeast asia. The menu sounds amazing and then I order the rendang or the roti and it's just the same version of one of three curries, red, yellow or green. Nothing is authentic. Very oily very disappointing. One good thing is they have fast delivery.

Hachi has been spot on lately

I just wanted to throw a little positive energy to Hachi. It being the dead of winter, I have been ordering delivery a lot lately. The past three times I've ordered from Hachi it has been really, really good. The sushi has been super fresh (I ordered from their specialty rolls- the dynamite is my favorite), the pad thai was really flavorful and not at all dry, vegetarian spring rolls are stuffed full of bright green veggies, even their thai iced tea is awesome though maybe a little on the sweet side. Wouldn't recommend dumplings or pot stickers which are a bit on the greasy and have too much pasta shell for the lil bit of inner goodness, but for sushi I think it is a great addition to the neighborhood. (Much quicker than ordering from Kyoto in Greenpoint.) Also the telephone and delivery people have all been so so friendly and pleasant it kind of caught me off guard. The delivery was super speedy even in the insane snow piles two days after the blizzard. Good vibes and good times Hachi. Keep up the dope food and smiles!
