Are you kidding me!!
This place is obviously too cool for me. They only deliver a few hours a week and then "just say no" to ordering and going to pick up your order. I like there food but can not always waste my time relaxing at their restaurant. Because they are so annoying with ordering over the phone I will never eat here again. Your food is not made by GOD. Get with it, you are in NY, so DELIVER your food.

Gotta have the Corn
Get's really crowded on Sundays, but it's a really nice crowd. Also, they're known for their corn. You have to purchase at least 2!!!!!

Fun in the Summer!
I love this place and love taking friends here. I think the corn is fabulous and have had tasty burritos. However, the reason to go is the atmosphere! This place cannot be beat for a fun evening in the summer. If you stay a few minutes to will end up talking to others around you and thoroughly enjoying your evening. It's one of a kind and definitely a staple in Brooklyn.

Just Water
My first impression of the place was good. A very hip and lively place. Food came out fast. Althought the taste of the cuban sandwich was not to go gaga for. It was bland and I ended up masking it with hot sauce. Since i had to use so much hot sauce i asked for a simple glass of water. It was self serve and nothing was in there Igloo piknic style water dispenser. So i asked the Cashier for a bottle of water behind her and she had told me to wait 5 minutes. She was too busy counting money. I can understand the crazyness of a restaurant but it was a sunday afternoon where there was not a lot of people. I won't stand for rudeness and bad service. The eco thing is great but if you have bad food and bad service I dont think an establishment should be open, especially in a nice place like fortgreen. I am truely embarrased i had taken some out of town guests to a place like this because all they mention is that bad place we ate at. This place does not deserve the great people of brooklyn. Thats not what we are about.

Tasty but slow
I enjoy the hype of Habana Outpost (video advertisements for itself by the register?), but it could use some tightening up in the service department. The service is slow, and sometimes a little bizarre (I was once permitted to order something that wasn't on the day's menu- and had to change my order about 30 minutes later). The food is good, but not amazing. $2.50 drafts are a plus, and I do enjoy sitting out in the patio. The last time I was there, there was actually a really good dj!

was great but not worth it now
The atmosphere in the courtyard is still great, but the food and value has gotten a lot worse... seems like they're just trying to scam customers now. For $6 you get a dozen chips and a bit of guacamole, $3 is a few pieces of fried plantain scattered on half a plate... it's a joke. The cooks don't tell you when your food is ready like they're supposed to, so you have to just wait at the counter or end up with cold food.

food is great service is not
I order had a mojto and corn. The drink was very good. The corn took almost a half hour to make. Many other people who were waiting for there food outside were complaining about the service also. So if you like good food and drinks but subpar sevice please go and see for yourself.
