a bit apprehensive to try again
The food has some pretty decent flavor and the meat platter is a terrific deal, but there were some things I just couldn't get past. I got lamb and ended up with a pretty good amount of tiny bone shards mixed up in my dish. I had high hopes going in, but left feeling underwhelmed. I will probably try it again because of the value, but I don't think it is my new go-to spot.

Go to spot
I work in the area @ one of the hospitals nearby. And I honestly can not get enough of this place. I go for the meet platter everytime, and mix it up it never disappoints.

Authentic
This place has a no frills, bare bones decour. I knew the place was going to be great because it was filled with Pakistanis, meaning it's an authentic little piece of Pakistani heaven. You can order at the counter to go, or order at the counter and be served at a table. The man serving the food at the counter was a little gruff and didn't really seem pleased to be answering questions....but in my book that only added to the experience of the place. I got a 2 meat platter for $7.99, which came with 2 meats ( obvi ) a veggie, nan and a salad. I chose the chicken tikka masala, the fish and the green beans. My boyfriend had the chicken tikka masala, a chicken kabob and the spinach. The spinach blew the green beans away (it was SOOO good), and his chicken kabob was a wiser choice than my fish. Sadly my two pieces of fish turned out to be tails, with lots of bone and very little meat. The meat was pink and tasted realllllll fishy. Everything else was amaizing though I can't dis this place because I disagree with one of their dishes. The chicken tikka was the best I've ever had. Definetly check this place out, but don't expect to be coddled.

Not recommended
Did not like it one bit. All right, this is not a place to stay and have dinner, but the take out was just bad. There are much better deals and values around. I went after work and upstairs, so maybe that is why my review is different from the others. Sorry. Nice people, though.

Great Lunch Buffet
Went for lunch today, the buffet is a really good deal for $10, the food was very fresh, nicely spiced, sauces were thick and tasty, not watered down like some other places. Nice salad bar, and the buffet had samosas, chicken biryani, even a delicious beef curry, which you never see at the other places. Wait for the hot naan, it is worth it. The place also seemed very clean and well run, always a plus.

Best in Manhattan, but not U.S.
This is by far the best tasting Indian/Pakistani/Bangladesh restaurant in Manhattan, with even cheaper price for food. I got a chicken Makhani, naan, 2 seekh kabob and 3 lamb chops and my bill was $12.00, are you serious.., very good restaurant,
