Nice quiet place to grab an AWB

I bit of (rock) music, played not too loud, only one TV screen so your eyes aren't constantly attracted, good prices, good beer. By far the only place I've been in in the neighborhood where I can enjoy an after work beer with friends or colleagues.

    Awesome burgers

I had the best veggie burger here on 10/28 and my colleague said her burger was awesome too. Nice place with excellent service. Will return.

Call ahead to see if they're open!

This place definitely has potential; the desserts are great, the drinks are priced right, and the owner is enthusiastic and well-meaning (if a bit odd). But I'd never come by on a whim, nor would I ever plan on meeting friends here at the end of a night,

    pretty good

My Favorite Restaurant in the Neighborhood

I love trying new restaurants and this is my favorite in the Columbia U. area. There's a real Chef in the kitchen. Cozzy atmosphere and everything I've ordered there was really good. The prices are unusually low too.

    Good Food - Odd Feel

The menu is all over the place, but I've got to saythe food is very good. Thechicken is moist, well cooked rotiserie style and plentyful with very good mash potatoes and veggies. The onion soup is made with good stock and deeply rich. The plates offer g

Cozy atmosphere and hot, delicious food

I've been here a couple of times since it reopened in the spring. As a recent New York transplant, I've been getting a feel for where to get great food in the city, and Haakon's Hall is one of the more successful experiments. I love the Norwegian menu (ha

    $7 Coca Cola

Been twice this week. Everyday Pasta was tasty, the chicken salad sandwich I had today was good but not great. Atmosphere is nice, although not significantly nicer than Amsterdam one block away. I'm very irrate though - I just noticed that they do
