I love this spot ... They prepare everything freshly made every day, the wontons are great! it is a traditional take out spot, but don't let that diminish it, they work hard to please.

Ordered take out. They called and said they didn't have anymore baby eggplant w/garlic sauce. I said, no problem...please cancel the order. Oh, we'll check downstairs. The called back and said no problem, we have. Delivery came.

I love love their Gen. Tsao's Tofu, crispy, tasty and yummy! I order it at least twice a week and even my picky-eater 9-year old loves it!
Tofu with black bean sauce is also another good option (since I always order the Gen Tsao). I guess for UES, price

It was a extremely cold day and it took them a while to serve us a pot of tea.

We were very disappointed by the beef in the lo mein! It was really chewy and not really edible. The dumplings were ok, and the noodle soup was quite good, but we won't be coming back. Sorry!

I ordered my meal - great lunch prices - and exactly 10 min later, no joke, it was delivered to my door about 4-5 blocks away. Also, the portions are great - other places give you mostly rice and very little meat, but Guo's Garden filled my container with
