It was a extremely cold day and it took them a while to serve us a pot of tea. Initially, I felt this might turn out more sour then sweet. As the food was served, I was quite pleasantly surprised. The dumplings were thin skin and the dumpling meat delicious and filling. So good, we ordered another plate full. That is a compliment who teaches cooking. The garlic pork was perfectly spiced. The broccoli and chicken dish was very good. A simple fare not covered by sauces. Good food and cheap go hand in hand and makes me want to come back.

We were very disappointed by the beef in the lo mein! It was really chewy and not really edible. The dumplings were ok, and the noodle soup was quite good, but we won't be coming back. Sorry!

I ordered my meal - great lunch prices - and exactly 10 min later, no joke, it was delivered to my door about 4-5 blocks away. Also, the portions are great - other places give you mostly rice and very little meat, but Guo's Garden filled my container with at least half chicken - more than I've ever gotten before. Great first time experience here and I'll def be ordering again!

I won't be cynical and will assume that the folks here who've made such dramatic denunciation of the food, simply have sophisticated pallets that render the delicious Chinese food I enjoy weekly from Guo's Garden is actually a result of a LACK of taste on my part. Failing that, I'd have to conclude that they might just be creepy! My experience with Guo's (now five years and hundreds of orders old...) has been uniformly positive, I am all over the menu and like almost all of the choices I've made. They are helpful, attentive, know me and my preferences BEFORE I get through, saving me time and effort, free drink saves me scratch and the chow is way Mein. The delivery men are all uniformly fast and friendly. I dig it.

they have large shrimp nestled inside. particularly good if you're running errands, pop in for half a minute and get them fresh. good for what you know you're getting

I don't know why the negative reviews I personally quite like this place! They're nice, they're fast, and they respond to requests really well. I do only order veggie stuff, so many the meat they make isn't as good. But their general tso's tofu yum.

I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to chinese food, or any food for that matter. Never will you find food left on my plate but this food was absolutely subpar. Lo mein was bland as can be and chicken tasted like it wasn't even meat.
