    The UES Takeout Dive

There are nice classy joints to go to when one wants an authentic Asian dining experience in NYC.....this is NOT one of them. This is more an authentic NYC experience of eating cheap, quick, oddly addicting fake food from the dodgy-looking hole in the wal

    I love this place!

I love this spot ... They prepare everything freshly made every day, the wontons are great! it is a traditional take out spot, but don't let that diminish it, they work hard to please.

    Bad beef lo mein!!

We were very disappointed by the beef in the lo mein! It was really chewy and not really edible. The dumplings were ok, and the noodle soup was quite good, but we won't be coming back. Sorry!

    Best Service and Value

I ordered my meal - great lunch prices - and exactly 10 min later, no joke, it was delivered to my door about 4-5 blocks away. Also, the portions are great - other places give you mostly rice and very little meat, but Guo's Garden filled my container with

    Service with a Smile

I won't be cynical and will assume that the folks here who've made such dramatic denunciation of the food, simply have sophisticated pallets that render the delicious Chinese food I enjoy weekly from Guo's Garden is actually a result of a LACK of taste on
