Dinner & Latin Music, Perfect Combo

The restaurant is small but has a warm Cuban home feeling to it. Great live latin band playing near the entrance definitely attracts a crowd at the small bar, even on a Sunday, and makes you want to get up and dance. I had a glass of Sangria, but I've had better. I had the Papa Rellena to start, delicious, but was a small portion even for an appetizer. I also tried the Pinchos, VERY good. The Ropa Vieja is definitely worth going back for, had just the right seasoning of peppers and onions accompanied with thin crisp plantains, rice and black beans. Also worth trying is the Arroz con Camarones. For dessert I had the Natilla, but I wouldn't recommend it, not sweet enough for me. The service was good, accomodated a party of seven and even sang happy birthday for my mother. Overall, I would go back for the atmosphere, dinner, and drinks (not the sangria).

    Azucar!

What can I say? Come here and you will fill like your at home. Live music with amaising rythm, excellent drinks, free cigars and beautiful people. Enter a world of no worries and no stress and dance after eating!! Abrazos para siempre!

    Muy Bueno...

Went there for Christmas Eve Dinner (odd, I know) service was friendly, great band (a little loud but fun) and food was good. I had the shrimp and rice very yummy. Staff was very accomodating to our large party. The White Sangria was my favorite, my sister had the Raspberry Mojito and drank every sip of it. Very nice atmosphere and alot of fun. Would definitely recommend and go back.

    Disapointed

The fish was dry and not tasty, the steak had more fat than meat. the music was great, but if it were not for the empanadas i would have left. Your bartender is a real work horse and makes great drinks.

    Great mojitos, poor service

Been there several times, mostly for the mojitos. Best mojitos i've had. Food is ok, I like the chicken stew and chorizo appetizer. Sometimes the live band is good and sets the tone. Sometimes its not so good. Last time there, a bad vocalist screeched through most of my dinner. The service is poor. Brought me the wrong dessert after a very long wait. Then brought the right dessert after an even longer wait. (My date finished long before it arrived.) At that point i didnt want it. They charged me for the first dessert that I didnt order. After I asked them to take it off the check, they didn't apologize or offer any kind of courtesy.

Decent Food, Poor Service, Too Noisy

I was there on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago, and eventhough I was seated promptly, it took the waitress at least 20 minutes to come to our table. Then we had to wait an additional 35 minutes to get our drinks! When we were ready to walk out, the food finally arrived. It was OK, but wouldn't go back. It's too noisy as well and we had to scream across the table to hear each other.

    Extremely Happy

I took my friend here for her birthday and I was a little weary because of the comments about the service. I have to take the time to say that the staff was extremely nice! The owner even wished her a happy birthday and everyone, including the hostess, kept checking on us. The mango mojito is to die for and the music and atmosphere is just as fabulous. You feel like you are transferred to Cuba. It is a small and initimate place and I will definitely go back. I can't forget the free Cuban cigars either :P
