    Rude service

We have been looking forward to going this restaurant for some time now we finally went and our server was extremely rude on multiple occasions...and the food was just OK. We had calamari app which was chewy and meat skewers that were bite size. Although the atmosphere was really fun...live band...free cuban cigars we will think twice about returning.

    it was ok

The food was not good. I went here on a Saturday and the rice tasted like it came from an Uncle Bens box. It was not worth it for the price. The service was ok, our waitress was not too friendly tho. They did bring out the food quick. The drinks were not good either. The mojito was not done properly, all you tasted were the mint leaves. The sangria was not good either. The perks were: the free cigar and the music.

    Good food, poor service

Went there on a Saturday night. Food was great and atmoshphere was cute. Drinks were good too. Service was not good. Waitress was inattentive and unfriendly. We also felt like they wanted to rush us out to seat a larger party. I would recomend because of the food...maybe you'll have better luck with the service!

    Yummy

Went there after a broadway show, wasnt really hungry but my friends and I licked our plates clean. Great food and the free cigars ain't bad either (you just have to ask for them)

A trip to Cuba without the airfare

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan. The food, the atmosphere, the live band, EVERYTHING is amazing and very authentic. You also have to get the sangria.

    A great find

We went there for a quick lunch between screenings of New York Film Festival, not expecting much - it is really so difficult to find an affordable place with decent food in this neighborhood.... and we were thrilled! The food is really tasty and different than typical Lationo fare. What is more thann remarkable, a meal for two with wine and appetizer costed us less than $60! The service is fast and competent, and if you're there around lunchtime - you can eat in peace and quiet, surrounded by unpretentious, stylish decor. Will go again at my first convenience.

As Cuban as swimming to Miami

This place is the real deal for Cuban food. I went there with a party of 5 and we had a blast. Multiple rounds of drinks, incredible empinadas, papas rellenas and rabo encendido(ox tail). The atmosphere is cosy with paintings of havana markets and there are real quasi cuban waiters. This place was excellent and reasonably priced. I would return in a hearbeat.
