I am a patient soul and will always give a person or a place a second chance. My patience has worn thin on Guadalupe. I have been here only 4 times and have experienced the most disappointing service. On one occasion I called and made a reservation for 6 people at 7pm. When my date and I arrived at 7pm and gave our name the hostess sneered at us that we were an hour late. I reminded her that when I called I requested a table for 6 at 7 pm. I also left a contact number - so if there was a problem I could be reached. On another occasion we left our name for a table for two. It was a bit busy - when we asked how long of a wait - she said a half hour . She took our name - and told us to wait at the bar. There was no room at the bar or at the wait area. I let her know that we would be outside. We left - took a walk and returned in a half hour.I alerted Miss Sunshine that we were back. She asked me who I was - and when I pointed to our name on the list - she responded- you left and your table is gone. She than told me that we could put our names back on the list - but we would have to wait another half hour. We left and went around the corner Bye Bye Guadalupe.

I've been coming here for about 3 years and I am never disappointed. The service could be hit or miss but for the most part the servers are great and attentive. The chips and salsa are AMAZING nothing I've had anywhere else. The stewed crab and shrimp is delicious and the Rib El Diablo is a must have. I love their fruit punch and their pina coladas, their new addition to the menu is a friend cheese cake and its also delicious. I will continue to come to Guadalupe, its great for families or for a group a friends. till this day i have never been disappointed.

I have been here twice. Service is poor, not attended enough. Our service were very slow, took a long time to come to our table. This is supposed to be a Mexican restaurant but they're more famous for their Churrasco. That's what my husband eats when he goes.. I love Mexican food but this place has nothing Mexican on it. I order a appetizer Guadalupe camarones; it was just to plain the taste what so weird it didn't even taste it like shrimp. There drinks are ok, I really don't know how people can rate this place a 3-5. I'm really not eating there again I'll acompany my husband and friends that like their churrasco but that's about it..

This place is a great stop to wind down after a long day. Wednesday is the happy hour special all night. If you get there after 9PM expect to wait for a table. Service is good and after a few weeks you get to know the staff. The crowd varies but you will see a mix of young, old and families. Nice spot to eat before going elsewhere. I'm a big fan of the chocolate cake and ice cream.

After living in the Southwest for awhile, I hate to say it, Guadalupe's is a poor imitation of Mexican food. The service is dismal at best, the value for the food is not bad. Good service always brings me back even if the food is not that great. Would I go back? Maybe in my next life assuming service improves. By the way, Mexicans in Mexico or the Southwest do not have a clue what Tostones are.

Guadalupe is a nice place to be. They make very good margaritas And the short rió el diablo is a top plate
