    Gt Grk Nw

Ok, I'll be honest here: This place is awesome. Here is why: (Atmosphere) Well kept, clean, and overall a sight for sore eyes. Automatic (5) in a city known for... Well let's not talk about that and food at the same time (Service) No problems yet, so a (5) is given. Also they don't complain about refills... SO DRINK UP! (and get a small fountain soda) (Food Quality, AKA the main event) The food too is amazing. The yogurt is great, but obviously you came for the yeero... And that is straight out of Olympus in terms of quality. In a word: GODLIKE. I personally get the Lamb & Beef Plate with GRK tzatziki and the chips (which are awesome, but if you are health conscious then get the rice, another awesome choice or the slaw which I have yet to experience). The other tzatziki I tried was the Kaftero... Which to a guy who once had a shot of Blazin Buffalo sauce is tame, but has a good kick and flavor. And finally for the salads... Well... I haven't tried them, hopefully the next reviewer could do that (or leave a generic 200 character review, whatever works). (5) for the food. One of the best lunches I've had as a Financial District intern. Obviously there may be better greek places in other parts of NYC, but for a District known for not too many good places to eat, this place stands out (Value) Ok, it is New York City. So automatically I think a 5 for value is out of the question for most restaurants since, as a LI native, I can find food for cheaper prices at home. However, this food FILLS YOU UP like Greek should. Therefore, if you want a lunch to fill you up till dinner, get a plate, even tho a hefty $9.78 PLUS TAX will empty your wallet. (4) for the value. No less... Maybe more, idk. The Final Verdict: If you ever want a great lunch in FiDi and have about $15 in your pocket, then Get, Grk, Now (Or Gt Grk Nw if you go by their style of spelling things).

    Yogurt

I love Simi Yogurt special. It's filling, savory and delicious. Makes me feel satisfied but not overstuffed. Pita and tadziki are delicious as well. Haven't had the meat yet. The place looks really clean too.

    Beautiful restaurant with great service

This brand new place is gorgeous. Super high ceiling, glass facade, stone floors, basket weave chairs, panelled walls. And the service is super friendly and quick. I really anticipated trying this place out. Its got a great location near the financial district with tons of lunch traffic. I also liked the fact that its open late when there aren't many people around. So why the bad numbers? Incongruity!! The food doesn't match up with the rest of it. If I ate their food in a little hole in the wall snack bar or gyro stand I would think it was below par by those standards, let alone by the standards of what looks like a fancy greek restaurant. If they didn't get my hopes up with the decor, I wouldn't say it was a huge disappointment, but it is First off, the "greek fries" are really potato chips, no joke. Secondly, 2 of the remaining 4 side dishes aren't even greek: brown rice and cole slaw. Next up is the pork gyro: don't look too close at the meat. I don't know what it is but it ain't pork. Its greasy fat stuck together in rows and then burnt so you won't notice. The price reflects the decor not the food.
