waiting in line makes everyone cranky
Sometimes everyone should think what if i was in their shoes, i know that i cant get good help now in days, but its about the taste the heart of the store the cooks making that pizza better and better making it like if it was for their mother to us the customer

The best pizza around! The service was great! Especially this girl Gina...She was terrific! A real asset to that pizzeria.

Rude service by older staff
Visited today with my wife and daughter at 2:00 and there was no line. We walked in and a nice younger gentleman was about to sit us when an older gentleman told us to follow him, he walked us outside without saying a word and walked back inside. I guess that was his way of telling us to wait outside. We found him to be quite rude, we understand they do great business but customer service should still be a priority. If this individual does not understand that we suggest that he should retire. We are disappointed that we did not have the opportunity to try their famous pizza.

Pizza was tasteless, service was ok but rushed, atmosphere was non-existent, don't know why there was a line, nothing about this place was worth lining up for...

Best Pizza Ever !
I went on Sat night (late). The line was rather short. I had a lg pepperoni, roasted red pepper, and basil pizza. It was to die for ! I definitely recommend Grimaldi's hands down.

I have gone here about 5-6 times and not once have I been treated like a paying customer (let alone native New Yorker). They make you wait outside for forever, then rush you through your meal once you finally sit down. And the pizza is simply OK. There's better pizza throughout DUMBO alone.

Tourist pizza at best
Had been to Grimaldis once about 10 years ago, didnt like it then and my opinion hasnt changed. Too thick. Too doughy. Too much sauce. Too much cheese. Too much basil. Nothing about this pizza is right. It has no place being named in the same company as other great NYC pizzas. If this was being served in an airport in Kansas City as NY pizza, it may be acceptable, but not here.
