My husband and I just got back from our trip to the Phillipines, we were craving some good Fillipino cusine. We found out that this place has many good reviews here, so we checked out, but we were not impressed at all. Taste of food and the value did not meet our expectations, meat were not well-prepared and the sauce was not very special. They brought a wrong order for one main dish, although the server was eager to help. The only thing that reminded me of being in Manila was San Miguel beer. I don't think I'd go back.

The food is good but the service is not. I went there with my office mate and my food was served ahead of my companion for at least 10 minutes so by the time they deliver her food, mine was already cold.

If you're a Pinoy looking for authentic Filipino food, this is really the best place to go within Manhattan. (Believe me, we've tried them all). Their food is absolutely delicious! Their service could do better, though - our food got handed to us by the cook, who was speaking on his cellphone. They also tend to forget about orders (either that, or it just really takes too long to get things done in the kitchen).

I love Grill 21 it is the best place to try Filipino food for the first time. It is a very small place! fits about 20 people. If you don't understand what to eat just as the workers there and they are very friendly and will tell you what to eat. Trust me the food is yummy i love the pork dumpling soup. but get the small cup. Its lots of food. also it is far from the train station and bring cash some works don't know how to use the machine lol. cause it gets crowded. Yes i spell bad but oh well bye

Finally a good filipino restaurant in the city. The ambiance is definitely incomparable to other filipino restaurants. Food is presentable and delicious and the price is reasonable. The server is impressive, can manage to take care a bunch of different big groups with quality.
