    Thank you!!

Being a vegetarian working in Midtown I have a LOT of difficulty finding lunch options. How many salads can one woman eat?!! Green Symphony is a tiny little place I wouldn't even have noticed. I found the listing for it here on Menu Pages and I am so glad I did. Not only are there plenty of vegetarian options that are not salad (though they also have delicious salads if that's your thing), but the prices are so reasonable you'd swear you weren't in Midtown. I got a veggie burger wrap (vegan), a cup of coffee and an organic fig bar and it came to $7.50, which is actually less than a salad in most of the places around here. Even if you eat meat I would still recommend this place. Fresh ingredients, great price!

    Excellent wholesome food

Based upon the other reviews here, my wife and I tried this place. It was very good. From the outside you would never tell or even find this place. One neat thing was the green tea chai. It was very good.

    Incredibly fresh and tasy

I have been going to Green Symphony since they opened and am very sad that I no longer work down the street. The staff is lovely and the food is unusual and healthy but incredible tasty. Yes, the salad bar is not cheap, but the variety is amazing and it is always very satisfying and wonderfully seasoned. The tuna salad and turkey salad are consistently great It is amazing that they are made with healthy mayo because they are so tasty and always fresh. Even the broccoli which is normally eaten because one should, not because one enjoys it, is always a perfect texture with roasted garlic and a little sesame oil delicious. I always get the cold salad bar because I can't resist it, but the hot food is good too.

I go here every day... EVERY DAY!

I'm a burger and fries type of guy so the first time I went to Green Symphony I thought to myself, "This place isn't for me". Then, I ate the food and now I'm hooked. I'm HOOKED, Goddamn it! Salmon, excellent. Collar greens, excellent. Indian style vegetable stew, excellent. Broiled cauliflower, excellent. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Great food and great service. What more could you ask for in this godforsaken overun-with-tourists section of my beloved city they call "Times Square"? Granted, Green Symphony isn't the prettiest place in New York and it's pretty crowded at noon, but rest assured, the food from Green Symphony will please even those with the most sensitive and discriminating tastes. Uh-oh. I pumped this place a bit too hard. Don't expect much and try it. You'll be pleased

    vegan yums in yuppie midtown

I was very happy to find this bastion of deliscious vegan food (though they certainly have good offerings in meats and vegetarian food) among the overpriced, bloated midtown delis. Tasty food, good service and the best thing is the value! great ingredients at VERY reasonable price. I will be visiting many times more! the be bim bop, though in no way akin to the actual dish, is a really tasty take on the korean staple. Also, the smoothies are incredible and the best thing is the avocado pocket which for 3.95 pretty much beats everything except kwik carts amazing falafel! definitely go here if you're on a budget but love to eat.

    Saving Grace

In the vast foodie wasteland of Times Square lies Green Symphony. Through no fault of my own I have a ton of food intolerances and it's just so relieving to be able to go to Green Symphony and feel safe. Everything is well labeled, I can always count on getting a healthy, well-prepared, yummy meal. The owner is so friendly, the selection is so vast for such a small space and and the prices are just fine. I wish I could get the cook to teach me how to do those tamari roasted mushrooms, I always have to toss a few into my lunch. Thanks Green Symphony for being my oasis in the middle of an overpriced tourist ridden nightmare like Times Square!
