I love green leaves!
These guys are super nice. The food is really good for a "regular" Chinese spot. The nodle dishes, fried chicken and tofu are all winners!

Good, cheap and FAST!
For cheap take-out Chinese, this is the best of the lot for northern Greenpoint. For those seeking gourmet - get over yourselves - it is a cheap take-out joint that makes a very edible General Tso's with pretty darn good fried dumplings. My cat eats up all the pork from the fried rice and was quite content.

Go-to Greenpoint Chinese Delivery to-Go
When I'm in the mood for bad Chinese food, I go here. They have decent vegetarian dishes, and an unlisted menu item is the veggie chicken nuggets! Good, cheap delivery.

Pretty damn good
I know Chinese take-out is usually sub-par. But Green Leaves (cant help but laugh at the "Green Sleeves" reference) is really decent. Not overly oily and potions are very large and service is super quick. I would say its the best in Greenpoint as far as I have had. Recommended.

Friendly, Reliable, Cheap and Fresh
This is the best hole-in-the wall Americanized Chinese north of Greenpoint avenue. Its cheap, portions are big, the sauces are not oversalted or too sweet, and fried items are not overly oily or heavy, which are the most common ruiners of NYC Chinese take out. It is a small family run business and they are very accommodating with special orders. Wontons in soup are rather doughy, but other than that everything else I have had is great!

GOOD STUFF
This place is awesome. The lunch protions are insane! and it comes quick and hot. Sesame chicken is amazing and the chicken with broc is also amazing. Also sometimes there egg rolls are the best I ever had sometimes there just average. Best in the point hands down

disappointing
I found this place based on reviews on this site and decided to try it out. Wonton soup broth was pretty flavorless, but the wontons were solid. Beef with snow peas was decent. Tasty spring roll. Mooshu chicken dish was disappointing. Pancakes that came with it tasted like paper and were all stuck together. The Mooshu dish was 80% vegetables, which led me to picking through the dish to find actual pieces of chicken to put in my mooshu wraps. Took about 35 minutes to deliver. Delivery guy was nice. Price was good. Probably wouldn't order from them again just b/c I'd like to keep looking for the best Chinese in the area.
