We eat here at least once a week. :) Great experience every time.

One of my favorite go-to brunch places on the Upper East Side! I highly recommend both the Vegetarian Omelette with goat cheese and the Banana Strawberry pancakes (the fruit is actually IN the pancake, not just on top of it). It's always packed yet I have never had to wait more the 5-10 min. In addition, the atmosphere is very nice and bright, and service is fast and friendly.

Not particularly fancy, but we find that Green Kitchen is the best of the neighborhood diners. Good breakfast fare, eggs, omelets, etc. We get brunch there every so often and order in a lot. Some of the more upscale brunch dishes are good too (we liked the eggs benedict with smoked salmon).

I've ordered from here. Delivery is fast and efficient. Eat-in is a good experience. The service could be better, but the food is exactly what you're looking for, as far as diner food can be considered. Don't order anything stupid like crab cakes or chicken cordon bleu. If you stick to the staples, you'll enjoy your experience. Excellent breakfast food as well. And the chirasis are fantastic as well. Also, best manhattan clam chowder I've had, ever.

I've had a lot of great food here. The chicken dishes are excellent the parmesan is better than what I've had from nearby Italian restaurants (also, it's huge) the club sandwich has tasted fresh every time I've ordered it (and I usually place my orders at around four in the morning) and it always seems to arrive within twenty minutes. The mozzarella sticks are exactly what you want from mozzarella sticks: they're crunchy, lightly breaded, thick but not too pudgy. The only unsatisfying meal I've had from here was the salad, but I think that was more about my dislike for salad than it was about the preparation.

I have been to this place like 5 times already and enjoyed it a lot! Their wraps are amazing , the steaks are great and made exactly the way you want them. The value is as should be... Great muffins too. The meatballs are a must! Enjoy :)

I usually go to the Green Kitchen for brunch every Sunday. And I like it because its that happy medium between diner and cafe. The menu is pretty extensive and I have to say I haven't had a bad meal there once. I understand what some of the other reviewers here say about the service. Sometimes its hit or miss but I go here so often that I just laugh when they get it wrong. One thing I really do have an issue about though is the cleanliness of their restrooms. I've been to more pleasant toilets in bars on the LES. I think it may have something to do with the hoards of elderly folk who like to go in on Sundays (sorry!).
