skip it
I agree 100% with the last reviewer. The service is terrible whether you eat there or order in. I must have ordered in about 10 times over the past four years. Each time they forgot part of the order. I have even asked them not to forget anything-but they still forget. I only order off the menu-nothing fancy- but they still can't get it right. A salad with no dressing etc. All of this for not so great food. I'm done too!

Uncaring, sloppy and off my list
I've ordered from GK many times over the last 7 years that I've lived near by. Over the last two years, their packing has become so sloppy, that it's ruining the food. The burger I ordered today came without the bacon I paid $1.50 extra for, and the blue cheese that was supposed to be ON the burger was instead all over the french fries. This is just one of many examples of carelessness and sloppiness I've been forced to put up with. No more. GK is forever crossed from my list of lunch spots. If a Greek diner can't even get the burgers right, they're useless in my opinion. Goodbye GK. I won't be your sucker anymore.

Impressively arrogant
Green Kitchen is an okay diner, but I'm not sure I've ever been treated as badly as I was when I placed an order here. Apparently, with "all the orders" they have it's just too much to give certain people the individual respect they deserve. I will never call again.

Not bad
My sister who lived in the area 15 or so years ago says she was a regular back in the day. When we were visiting the city she wanted to have dinner there and we meet up with one of her old friends as well. Service was ok and the food, at least what I ate was pretty good, a nice change from the upstate diners in my area that have declined drastically recently. The atmosphere was pretty nice with an interesting variety of clientele. I want to meet someone for lunch that lives nearby and I plan on suggesting this place.

ugh
We've been ordering from Green Kitchen for a long time, and generally the food is good, always fast, always hot, but lately, the quality control has been getting worse and worse, culminating in tonight, getting a potato skin with half a thick, jagged toothpick in the food, and someone almost swallowing it. Usually when we order burgers from them, we ask them not to send lettuce or tomato, but lately, even tho we're very very clear in the ordering process, they send it, at the bottom of the tin, with hot fries, and a hot burger put on TOP of the wet vegetables. If you don't know what's going to happen to your hot, dry food when you stack it on something not just moist, but wet, you shouldn't be in the food industry, let alone in a competitive market. The fries come steamed, and drop a piece of white bread in hot water to see what happens to the bun. Who the hell wants to scoop their bun up with a spoon? 75% of the time the people answering the phone are surly, and rush you, even tho you may be speaking a mile a minute. As well even tho they acknowledge your order, they still somehow manage to leave out details like... no lettuce or tomato. 50% of the time! Pros: open 24/7, arrives hot, usually fast. Generally consistent in that you'll get the same flavors every time. Cons: increasingly worsening quality control. Phone staff are surly. Chew your food thoroughly.
