    A lunchtime staple

    I work in the area and this place is a breakfast and lunchtime staple. Like most midtown lunch venues, it's not cheap, but I always found the portions fair, the toppings on the salads decent, etc. They make a tasty sandwich too! As a regular I can tell you that all of the staff I encountered were routinely friendly, kind and greeted me with a smile every time. It gets busy, so you may have to wait a few minutes here and there, but its always been reasonable.

    Never Again

    I have ordered from the 58th street location several times for a quick lunch fix and until today I will never order again. They have made mistakes on their orders before but today's was a mess. Wrong sauce on one, wrong bread on another, and some mystery meat on another. No biggie, right, Wrong.. After a very nice woman told me not to worry they will send the correct order I waited an hour and finally called and learned that they were not sending the correct order that the first was correct. I told the gentleman on the phone that he could check it out himself...he basically called me a liar by insisting he was right and when i asked why he didn't call he claimed he did, however I am the one that answers the phone so I know that no call was ever placed. Finally after given up I told him to pick up the food and refund my purchase price and with that he said no problem and we hung up. I soon realized and called back to confirm that I would get a receipt to confirm my refund and then and only then he instructed me to go through "seamless web" to get my refund. I asked why he didn't mention that during our prior conversation and his response was that most consumers know how to obtain their refunds....wonder how many people this happens to there? Food was never that great to have to put up with that guy!
