    Some great BBQ

The food was amazing. I had the BBQ Chicken and BBQ Ribs with Mac & Cheese and Mash Potatoes. It was very flavorful and fresh. I got the food delivered and it took about an hour to come. I wasn't happy with the portions for the price I paid but since the food was great it didn't bother me too much.

    Craving some nachos?

I'm usually stuck in the office for most of the day and was in the mood for some BBQ. I decided to order from green apple because of a co-worker of mine had recommended it. I have gone to dinosaur BBQ a countless amount of times so I was basing my judgment of the food quality to it. I had the pulled pork sandwich and had a side of mashed potato and mac and cheese. My co-worker ordered the nachos with chili. When the food arrived the portions were huge but tasteless. My pulled pork sandwich was so dry that I choked on it by mistake. The mac and cheese is inedible, they use american cheese instead of using cheddar. The only highlight of my meal were the mashed potatoes that came with a nice Alfredo like gravy. My co-workers nachos with chili was very large, and they put too much chili on the nachos, that it made the chips soggy. For the price you pay the food isn't terrible. But then again should you really pay for food that is below average?

    Utterly disappointing

Ordered delivery, and all the items had the quality of having been microwaved. Not saying they were, but it's a bad sign when an order of bbq arrives and you can't smell any aroma of food. Ordered the ribs with sauce; received what looked like the dry ribs and a literal thimble-sized container of bland bbq sauce. Ribs were so tasteless that dousing them in my own 99 cent store-bought bbq sauce was the only way to find a way to "enjoy" them. Cornbread piece was tiny, and strangely-gooey. Grilled corn had char marks, but was about the size of my index finger with tiny kernels of corn and didn't taste fresh. I ended up nibbling at one rib and throwing out the rest of the order. This is probably the harshest review I've ever written for a restaurant, but I found this order, which was not inexpensive, to be a complete waste of money.

Best food so far in this neighborhood

Just moved up here and have tried several restaurants and this one is my favorite so far. Beef ribs were excellent and cole slaw and corn bread are terrific too! Very nice people taking the orders as well. Didn't eat in...just took out and ordered delivery.

    Worth the trip!

Had this menu in my house for a while, but did not try their food until last night. Upon reading the reviews, I decided to go and pick up the food. When I entered, the boss was at the front and we engaged in a friendly conversation. When I asked him what the difference between the dry rub ribs and the BBQ ribs, he brought out a rib for my friend and I to taste. My friend got the daily special while I got a combo meal. They were out of collard greens though. I substituted with green beans. I also wanted to order key lime pie, but they were out of that also. I was upset that I didn't get collard green and pie. When the order was ready, the boss let me know that he gaves us 2 slices of sweet potato pie at no cost. What a wonderful thing to do! My friend had asked him for more sauce and when I returned home, I discovered that he gaves us 2 half pint containers of sauce, along with 2 smaller containers of BBQ sauce and 2 additional containers of chipolte BBQ sauce - which was great! The food was sooo good, and there was so much of it! Great food and great value!

The food is GREAT! and the service is wonderful! the owner came to greet us and gave us samples of other food they offer. They have a great story on how the business came to be.
